Discount Vapors Vivi Nova clone tasyes funny, burnt?

So I just received my ViVi Nova clone from Discount Vapors. I have it on top of my Vamo, the ohms reads 2.4 and Im vaping at 6 watts. Everything I try it tastes funny and a little burnt. What am I doing wrong?

At 6 Watts, you shouldn't be burning anything. If you're at 6 Volts = 15 Watts, then almost everything will be burnt. I know the purpose of having a readout is so you don't have to meter anything .. but if it were me, I'd put a meter on the batt and the carto to verify.

You may also be getting dry hits. That happens when there is a wicking problem. Top coil designs are prone to this. Tilt your Vivi a little, or turn it upside down for a moment and check if the wick isn't pinched too tight at the top.
