I am having a flavorless cape right now too! It sucks and I want my delicious piña colada to taste as it did again. I think this time it has no taste because I'm kinda sick. Been drinking water and that helps for a drag or two and then back to nothing. Hopefully I can get my taste back so I can taste my juice again! Good luck to you!

Same here. I have a cold and nothing tastes like anything. I have a very strong peach juice that helps sometimes, but I sure hope I get over this cold soon so I can taste all my yummy juices again. Drinking lots of water with lemon juice, going to go brush my teeth again...

Yes, as someone who quit smoking (again) relatively recently I can say from experience that going after a stronger flavor can be a slippery slope! You find one strong flavor and vape it for a week and then either get bored or it simply looses some of it's WOW... this can be your tastebuds getting overwhelmed, much like listening to loud music for extended periods will affect your ears. Then you go find an even stronger flavor and you vape that for a week and then... You get the idea. Sooner or later you are on the strongest flavor on Earth and even that is starting to taste kind of blah! Welcome to "acute vapor tongue".

Sip water frequently when you vape. Don't wait to feel thirsty or for "dry mouth" to set in!
When you brush your teeth give your tongue a good going over too.
Drink a cup of hot coffee or tea in the morning *before* you have your first vape.

And as terrible as it might sound right now go back to the flavor you think is the weakest, most tasteless bottle you have. Give that a go for a day or two. Switch it up with a couple of other "weak" flavors for a few days. You might be surprised how quickly your tastebuds peek out of that foxhole they have been hiding in and start to give you a sense of flavor again. :)

Thanks Oktyabr, I am going to do this. I have a few juices that are not my favorites that I am going to use while going through this. They always seemed weaker flavor (I am an extra shot flavor buyer) so going to save my yummies for when my taste comes back. Did drink some coffee before my first vape and did get some flavor, so I have hope!!

Water, don't leave home without it!

New to vaping and getting discouraged a bit. I think I've gone taste deaf. I first got the green smoke ecig and loved the taste of the tobacco gold. I then moved on to a provari and all the eliquid I've tried so far sucks. I tried 5 more from another vendor and they're just as tasteless as can be. Am I doing something wrong?

A few things could be going on. One is "vaper's tongue". Happened to me early on. Just all of the sudden, no liquid had any real taste. One of the better intros to what it is can be found this way: Taste Buds and Vapers Tongue.

One thing I was doing that turned out to be A Bad Idea was letting really warm vapor hit my tongue dead on. Now it tasted great but then it was like my taste buds went on strike. This was when I understood why photos of experienced vapers show them with their mouthpieces off to the side of their mouths more often than more around the center like a cig. Apparently, taste buds get upset at being repeatedly hit with warm (or even hot) nicotine and such. They revolt and refuse to work. :)

Don't get discouraged. It goes away. If you've been letting the vapor hit your tongue dead on, practice going off to the side or moving it out of the way, such things. Maybe tone down the voltage so the vapor's not quite so warm. I also started regularly brushing my tongue when I brushed my teeth. Took a few days but then, all of the sudden, the tastes came back.

What was really weird about it was it didn't affect me tasting food. Just vapor. I don't get that at all.
