Dishwasher safe??

This might seem like a stupid question. That being said, I can't believe I didn't think of the stupid question earlier...

Can I just take apart all of my Protanks and davides and toss them in the silverware thingy?? Not the coils, and obviously not a plastic tank, but why not the Pyrex??

That would make my night! Lol who's feeling lazy? This guy right here.

I don't see why not. Just make sure you don't put in the rubber gaskets. I'm sure you would lose them. I don't see any problem with this, does anyone else?

Crap. Forgot about the gaskets. Excellent point. Now I'm sad, and its all your fault .

I would not do it to protanks 1 they have glue to hold them together and the hot water might comprise them.

Just my opinion but I wouldn't put any of my stuff in my dishwasher. Even though my dishes come out clean enough to eat off of, I'd worry about any film left that would taint the juice in some way. If you do then I'd rinse it real well which would kind of defeat the purpose of dishwashing in the first place.

Oooo if only we could put everything in the dishwasher.

I would go for it. But probably on the upper rack. Or use the gentle cycle.

As for any film that might remain, I would choose the air dry option then as soon as the wash cycle is complete, take out the parts and give them a good rinse.

I wouldn't do it unless it was something that you'd not mind being destroyed. Not everything is dishwasher safe.

I have been told by a few vape shops to soak them in everclear alcohol to clean them. I simply use warm water to clean all my tanks and has worked so far.

I think part of the fun is taking them apart and cleaning them up myself! I found a new hobby.

I'd be worried about - excessive temp, lost parts, leftover soap... too much hassle.
Along similar lines though (easy cleaning), I saw a post elsewhere from a guy who took a PILE of old gunky coils, dropped them in water with one of those denture cleaning tabs, and said the next day they looked and vaped like NEW. That may be worth checking out!
