I have not received my PV in the mail, yet I love it like a parent loves it's adoptive child before meeting it. That's perfectly ok, but I'm addicted and I haven't even tried it yet. Every couple of days, I find myself buying more ejuice. Tonight's purchase consisted of VaporBomb's green apple, peach, and cinna-bomb. With all the flavors available, how on Earth do you control yourself?

Control myself? Why would I do that? :)

I now have 3 different models (Kr8, 510, 901), a 510 pass-through, about 30 different flavors of juice, and a full DIY juice set-up.

Not only have I quit smoking, but hell, I've acquired a hobby! It doesn't work that way for everyone - some people here just find what works, stick to it, and don't get any more involved than that. And that's awesome too. The important part is kicking the cigs.

But what I love about this place is that it gives you all the encouragement you need to really make e-cigs work for you. I actually just got together with a couple people from this forum the other night, and we took up a whole dining room table with our vaping stuff, trying different things, and talking about stuff (some vaping-related, some not).

I love everything about what picking up e-cigs has done for my life. And I have no desire to control it! :D

It does seem like an interesting hobby. And a tasty one =D

Larch, I'm already trying to devise a way to keep everything organized (cartos, cart/atoms together by flavor). I want to try everything!

Maybe there is little self control, but it's a lot better than smoking ridiculous amounts of cigarettes. Maybe it is better that cigarettes don't come in hundreds of non-tobacco flavors.

Almond, remember your taste buds are going to be in a state of flux for a couple of weeks....while they're waking up. So you may try a juice now and hate it or love it....then feel the complete opposite about it next week. So hang onto the juices that you don't like at first; they may end up being your favorite. I'm excited for you! Are you expecting it soon? Maybe tomorrow?

When I ordered my first kit it was over the 4th of July weekend and the mail didn't run on that Monday....I was expecting lots of stuff in the mail...and had to wait through the holiday. Made me crazy! I hope your kit gets there soon......

For keeping track of flavors in your cartos and carts, I have 3 words for you: orthodontic rubber bands.

You can buy them in multiple colors, and mark each flavor with one or two colors. I have a "key" on the back of my vaping drawer box, with all my color combos and the flavors they go to written down. I got them from Jaw Products, but they don't appear to have the colored ones right now.

Here's a pic of what they look like:

I got the 1/8in size, medium tension. They stay on as long as I want them to, come off easily when I want them to, and are re-usable. Works perfectly.

JC - I'm hoping it comes in tomorrow because I don't think the mail runs Monday =[ Whats even worse, the mail lady is my neighbor! Harassing neighbors doesn't make for a comfortable home life. I'm excited, regardless if they'll taste all right or not. Because like you said, flavors may change with my taste buds. And if I don't like a flavor, I can trade it or give it to the boyfran if he decides to start vaping =D

MN - That is a wonderful idea. I was thinking more along the lines of a number system but colored rubber bands are so smart! Do you think the tiny rubber bands in the ethnic hair section would work just as well?

Wow mail person stalking taken to the next level. Now I need to find out where my mail guy lives so I can go harass him.

I think addiction isn't quite the right description for my amassing collection of e-cig gear. I found a life changing device and if it worked for me which it did money was no object. Since I plan on vaping for a long time I might as well do everything I can to get the most out of it :) Have fun and make sure to pay the bills first!

I feel your anxiety Almond. Hubby and I are waiting for our Chucks to be made and mailed, but at least we have PVs already. I'm having one of those days where my taste buds are on strike and all my juices just taste bleh :(

Last time I looked on that site Mistress, they were sold out of the colored ones. I hadn't thought of the ethnic hair bands...good call Almond :)

I also went with vaporbomb for my juices, getting my first ego from cignot. I ordered last week, and for this whole week I've been reading through everything (and thats EVERYTHING) I can find and watching any ecig related videos just to pass the time till I get to try out vaping. Its delivered but I have to wait until wednesday till I can get my hands on the boxes. The wait is killing me. I've even finally joined as a member so hopefully posting and helping out other newbies will keep me from longing for the Ego in my hands till then.
