After a bit your muscle memory will kick in for your squonk/fire technique. I squonk every 2-3 hits then fire.
I tried to answer mine yesterday. I was busy working and the wife called and I reached into the wrong pocket and pulled out the grand. Had it almost to my ear before I realized what I was doing. Maybe some day we can get a iphone ecig combo lol
Missing the fire button? Never! Ok...maybe I have and thought .......till I realized.
I tried to do a through clean on mine last night, while drunk. I ended up dropping both o-rings (bottles o-ring included) and a set screw right down the drain...

In my case I think it has to do with the fact that I am right handed, normally vape right handed, but I'm doing college homework writing with the right and blindly picking up my REO with my left, my thumb mindlessly seeks out the bottle and presses it as I try to vape. Caught myself more than once...
I've done it often, ....I did it while fogging out my local HD dealership and was so busy making clouds I hit the wrong button and filled my 306 till it squirted in my mouth, gagged and flung juice everywhere. FAIL was all I could think
I agree muscle memory eventually takes over. Just takes some time. Practice alternating hands. And, of course, I used to do it some.

Yeah guilty, I also tried to vape my tv remote a couple times and it's not even close to the same szie as the Reo.

Yep, already done that twice in the short week I have had my Grand.
Embarrassing though is changing the bottle (changing flavor), blowing out the tube, removing the RM2 cap, replacing cotton, getting distracted by the dog, squonking, hitting the button while simultaneously putting my mouth on the RM2 without screwing back on the cap.
Causes a mess, a yech moment, then the realization my lip is burnt.
But not as bad as sticking a lit cig in backwards.
