I have found that my diver leaks slightly from the 510 connection. It doesn't leak while vaping, but after it sits for a while.

Are speaking about a small drop or a pool of liquid? It's been some 9 days, since I have had my Diver, and I have not yet experienced this.

If left on overnight, my cartotanks will leave a very small amount of liquid on the center post of my devices. I normally dismount my tanks and store them in capped plastic containers, as I usually have 4 to 6 tanks in rotation.

It's not a ton of liquid, maybe 6 or 7 drops worth. It may be because I am using 1 strand of 3mm silica.

I never noticed it before, but you guys might be onto something. It really does wick better when the tank is about half filled.

Also, have any of you tried ekowool with the Diver? Thinking of picking some up.

No, have not tried the ekowool, yet. However, I am planning on experimenting with some 3mm loosely woven Germany silica and some cotton yarn.

I had just coiled mine with Ekowool when I realized I lost the brass center pin. Here's what I found out, 2mm single wick or 1mm doubled. 2 mm doubled is too much.

This further confirms my decision to bypass the Killer, which I read is great, and to continue on with the Diver.

Exactly how I feel. I like mine so much, I'm considering getting a second one.

Question for you guys. Do you guys still use the plastic piece (grommet?) that the ceramic cup sits on? I built a wick without non-resistance wire and it melted into that plastic piece so I just chucked it.

So I have been exclusively vaping on my Diver for about two weeks now, in a Cirrus tank with a Titanide Themis 18 mechanical mod, and I have to say that it has quite a learning curve for such a simple sounding device. I have found that no matter what style of coil you choose to wrap (2x 2mm, 1x 3mm, 2x 1mm silica with 30, 32, or 34ga wire) it works best if it is a very loosely wrapped coil. Too tight and it will not only taste like silica, but it will give you a dry hit about every two to three puffs. If the coil touches the sides or bottom of the ceramic at all, other than the legs of NR that go through the holes in the bottom, it tends to get a drop or two of juice in the air hole in the brass pin. The trick to fixing this (in my experience) is to wrap the coil around the silica with something solid in it (paperclip, sewing needle, etc.) to keep the coil straight and even, and to make sure that the coil lines up perfectly with the silica wick notches in the ceramic. If you pull the legs too tight when feeding them through the bottom, or if you don't align the coil with those wick notches, it will collect juice in the air hole. Also, if you cut the wicks a little shorter on the sides, so they are a little above the threading when you put the top tube on, you will not have any issues with wicking no matter how full the tank is. I can fill my tank completely, so there is almost no air in it, and chain vape the whole thing (I go through about 10ml/day, mostly 9mg 50/50, recently it has been a lot of J-Vapes "No Worries") without any issues. Again, these are just my experiences, and yours may not be as rewarding, but once you find that sweet spot for wrapping this, it will definitely impress you.

I have been using and will continue to use the Diver in a NR-R-NR wire configuration. As noted by Konstantinos (Atmistique), it's not required . . . However, that is what the Diver's basis of design was built on. Many other rebuildables, which utilize a ceramic cup, also recommend the use of NR wire, as well.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!!!

I use a very thin paper clip. I first learned of this method while watching a YouTube video on the eBaron Pro. If nothing else, it affords a much steadier method of wrapping a coil.
