Yeah, I had been asking about the XL Diver early on and waited until the 2nd production round, when it appeared that an XL Diver was not forthcoming. It appears that their XL prototypes were not performing up to par. However, Konstantinos has mentioned that the Diver will work in a 45mm (XL) tank with a longer DT.

Honestly, the only issue I had with using resistance wire only was that it dulled the flavor for some reason. Couldn't figure out why though. I'm on a sub 1ohm coil right now (28ga kanthal, 50/50 pg/vg), and even with that heat I'm not having any issues with flooding. I've only experienced flooding once. Apparently the wick was getting old and it was the Diver's way of telling me it was time to change it out.
I'm actually not using the plastic insert in my Diver right now and still no issue with flooding after 5 days. It seems like this little thing is almost impossible to flood if you have a good wick in there.
I bought some of these long column drip tips to use with my Divers in my 45mm IBTanked tubes - they work great and offer a seamless look:

Hey guys some warning here, make sure you have a good tank I have mine in a cheapo these need good vacuum and if orings are not holding pressure in air will dump in with the little pressure an flood the crap out if it haha, ugh Now I need a tank

I've been using my Diver at work & really liking it, & I want to do a little weekend maintenence/clean-up on it & get it ready for next week. Has anybody damaged the rubber (o-ring?) on the Diver when dry burning the coils?
I haven't damaged it from dry burns, but I have noticed that when the seal seats properly, the o-ring sticks inside the tube and when the base is removed it is ground against the threads until the tube comes off. Anyone else experience this? It can't be healthy for the o-ring...
Hmm . . . I did not even consider that. I will be making a new coil assembly, today. I'll have a closer look at that. Thanks for the observations.

I have 4 new coil assemblies (2 of 2x-2mm and 2 of 1x 3mm) made up and sitting in ceramic cups at the ready. However, the Diver is still performing at peak, for the past 2 weeks, at the rate of 1-1/2 tanks a day in a 22mm IBTanked tank. Same excellent flavor and vapor. I am using 50/50 DIY fruit flavored e-juices, if that accounts for anything.
What have you folks been experiencing? I feel like switching the said out, simply for the fun of it.

I've been vaping a couple std IBT tanks of a DIY caramel/honey tobacco per day thru it & the Diver has been kickin it great, but I'm thinking the caramel has gotta be gunking up da ole coils. And I really don't enjoy wrapping the NR/R coils so I want this'n to last as long as possible. I use mostly RBAs at home so my Diver stays in my toolbox at work all week & I still haven't dry burned it yet...
Well, I just put in a new coil assembly into my Diver, a few moments ago. I used a 32g Kanthal R/32g Nickel NR, 1x 3mm german silica @ 1.7Ω.
The 3mm silica, as compared to the 2mm silica is vaping beyond spectacular. The Diver is rolling like one of my drippers, at the moment. Very flavorful and much more dense vapor with this new coil set-up. The 3mm silica is wicking much quicker with no flooding, yet.
As my nephew would say, "Chain vaping is off the hook!" I'm going to fill the tank up and report back, later.

I was in error in noting that the coil was at 1.7Ω. It was actually a 1.4Ω coil.

I wasn't sure if it was an o-ring or some sort of pressed in insert in there but I just now took the o-ring off the assy, dry burned the coils, & reassembled everything. It's back to vaping like a champ again.
The 3mm vaporbase silica set-up on the Diver is vaping quite well, as I anxiously await the arrival of another Atmistique package.
The Diver is blending in perfectly with my other silica based delivery devices. It does not get any better than this.
Genny designed RBAs have been sitting idle for the past 3 weeks.

I just got my diver and the tanks that i have are all to long for it. Can you guys recommend a nice tank that will look good on and ePipe.
