would this be any good?

Should work fine. Might be a bit on the pricey side(not sure on my pound/dollar conversion), but should work fine if that's all you can get.
For refference I pay $3 for @180ml(6oz).

I use about 10% extract and 10% water. Currently I am cutting 1 part 36mg of nic VG with 2 parts straight VG.

The amount of Vanilla extract may depend on which one is used.

You might like Frontier. "... no-alcohol vanilla flavor. Its just glycerin and vanilla extract with a little water."

I thought about it, but they are using Frontier in high % & it seems I like only low VG%.
I used some McCormick pure vanilla extract.

Honestly, the bottle of extract I found at a friends house. Not sure of the brand, but it was very old and flavorfull. Obviously, with different potencies of vanillan, different extracts will have varying amounts used. I'll have to look into frontier, thanks for the look out.

First diy vape:

It tastes pretty weird. Kinda like creamed corn, but then again I mixed then vaped. It's in a brand new cartomizer. I noticed that the second day changed how well my juices tasted and vaped. Wow, vg has zero throat hit. Maybe the flavors will marry while in the cart over night and be more vanilla than creamed corn *smells bottle again* no...that's some pretty crappy vanilla smell

Ok the girl I'm with says it tastes really, really good. She says it tastes like vanilla frosting or hagen daz [sp most def]. Very, very vanilla, and not like fake vanilla. Funny seeing it's clear imitation vanilla

Wow! I made a liquid with Lorann's Rootbeer, and I thought it tasted and smelled like corn. Can't remember which but others Ive made had the same smell and taste. I assumed it was burning too fast, too hot, maybe the caramel coloring???
Anyone else experience this???

mine is imitation clear vanilla, kroger brand. It tastes a little better today, but still tastes like the best creamed corn ever. Both my non smoking friends thinks is tastes really yummy: creamy ice cream, cupcakes, super vanilla. I think my palate is screwed

Wow, vg has zero throat hit.

I could be wrong but I think the throat hit comes more from nic than PG/VG. On your next 0 nic mix attempt, try to get ahold of mint flavoring. I was able to get some throat hit from 0 nic juice flavored with spearmint. Only takes a little and mint is a nice compliment to other flavors so you dont need straight mint mix to get a little throat hit.

I don't quite mind, it's just surprising to not feel anything on the draw or inhale, then exhale *creamed corn* Yeah, don't let my lack of ability to properly taste. People seem to like it a lot. I think I can make about 15 10ml 0nic for $5-6. If you like it then you're set. I need to hit up the candy flavorings aisle at micheals or something.

Does the glycerin have a corny flavor to it? I've heard vg is much sweeter than pg.

i got some glycerin from asda 75p and some vanilla for 50p
loads of vapour but not a massive throat hit, but then im using 0 nic.
the best throat hit comes from the exhale with a very plesent taste of vanilla.
overall for £1.25 and the ammount of this stuff i can make now is excellent

Have you considered Menthol which will add TH. Interestingly many non menthol smokers like a menthol liquid! Menthol & Vanilla work great together.

If you use the real stuff, does it have to be clear [or is that not an option?]. Dang...the only stuff in my cabinet has corn syrup in it. I'm assuming that'll gunk up my gear.
