I was looking around for a program that had a database of base flavorings. Like all the fruits and other common flavors. If anyone knows about something like this let me know.

I found something interesting though.

So I was looking around and found some other flavors.

banana; pear

almond; beef; caramel; cheese; corn; coffee; woody; earthy; tobacco

almond; butter; caramel; cheese; chocolate; creamy; nutty; fruity; sweet; coffee

Raspberry This one looks most promising

Bacon

Apple-Mint-Rose ??? WTF

Just do a search on sigmaaldrich. I think the category for checking is
Organoleptic. The definition of Organoleptic is:

Organoleptic refers to any sensory properties of a product, involving taste, colour, odour and feel. Organoleptic testing involves inspection through visual examination, feeling and smelling of products.

I could be wrong here.

Seems like some of these may be ok for flavoring. I believe this is what would end up in LorAnnes (sp?) flavoring or anyone else's in the end. When searching the site type in the flavor, then look for Kosher, FCC I think. Not sure but 1000 grams (usual quantity) would probably flavor at least 1000 10ml bottles (that is just a ball park guess).

Discuss.

Posted all this then found something nice.

This gives compounds for quite a few flavors.
