I hope it's okay if I ask a couple questions. I'm new to vaping but, I love to tinker so I want to give this a go.

I am curious as to how the carto works/wicks with this setup? Are you taking the outer plastic off the carto? If I'm asking a stupid question or missed it in the video I'm sorry. I just don't see how it would work and need clarification.

And the rubber stoppers from ththe syringe is bowl shaped (like a kitchen bowl) so when you put the one in the bottom of the tube is the bottom of the bowl facing the outside or the inside of the tube? Same question for the top stopper.

I know this is really easy to make I just want to make sure I'm doing it right the first time. Great job on the video by the way and thanks for taking the time to make it.

Thanks for posting! What a great video. I went to buy some cartomizers to try this today and none in my local area sells anything but the CE4's and standard cartiridges. I have to order them, I guess. I'm thinking of using the SmokTech Replacement 510-DCT Cartomizers that are used in the rebuildable tank systems. Will these work?

510-DCT cartomizers are to be used in DCT tanks. Rebuildable tank systems are just that...rebuildable. In a rebuildable tank system the coil and wick is rebuilt.

Sorry if my terminology is a bit off. I'm still a bit of a noob, after all. :)

Thanks for responding! I have seen videos of ones like these being used to make the syringe mod, but I wanted to make sure that this was the right one. I am not interested in rebuilding the coils and wicks just yet. These are the cartomizers that are meant to be used as replacements in the DCT tank system, but I want to just use it in a tank that I build. Should be okay, yes?
