Ok so I don't get super extravagant with my vaping supplies at all. I store my VG/PG/Nic/Flavorings/Spare Needles and Syringes all in a dark and cool area (my closet).

I'm getting fairly annoyed by having to carry them down all the time to mix my juice.

ANYWAYS. My dad was a carpenter for about 15-20 years and he did lots of work with custom kitchens and cabinets, all that sort of stuff. He brought up a machinist tool chest, or an apothecary cabinet.

I really digged the machinist tool chest type set up, however the apothecary's cabinet is very intriguing.

I'm going with this sort of style:

And to replace those giant pesky PG/VG bottles, I've decided to buy 2 1L water bladders, for those of you who don't know, it's basically a plastic bag with a cap on the top for filling (usually can be hung on something) with a hose on the bottom, the hose is meant to be a straw, however, I'm going to attempt to attach the plastic end piece of a standard Luer-Lock needle to the tubing with some sort of shrink-wrap, if it works, I'd be able to attach a normal Luer-Lock syringe to the plastic piece, and directly draw Nic, PG or VG, via these water bladders, when they run low, I can simply unhook them from my chest, and fill them up via the cap on the top, pouring it in from any container could be done with ease.

Now, the only snag is that to extract the VG, and any viscous liquids (my 50/50 nic and VG) I need to remove the actual needle from the plastic piece. Because right now it's taking approximately 10 seconds per mL of VG through a 16gauge needle, which is wayyy longer than I'd like to wait.

I figured there's maybe three ways I could go about doing this, try to pull the needle through, push it back out, or try to precisely cut the plastic piece in half (which would really increase the speed in which I could draw the thicker fluids.

So, my question to all of you DIYers out there, would you like to see more of this, are my dreams of an ease-of-use vape chest too far-fetched? Do you have any input or feedback on what I should do?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, and IF or WHEN this vape chest is completed I'd love to give out the specs/plans of the chest and where I got the supplies so any of you who like it could build one for yourselves!

Thanks everyone,
Dan

I think the min size needle guage for VG is 14. That may help.

I've never heard of anyone using a bladder for VG/PG so I'm interested in how it works out for you. Right now I'm thinking it might be overkill for a casual DIYer, but I'm open to see what happens. I absolutely love the pic of the chest you posted although I don't have woodworking skills. I do live in a small apartment and need to pack up and store all my DIY stuff between mixing. I'm always looking for ways to do that easily and quickly.

Good luck.

Thanks, the water bladders I've put in the post are a bit pricey and I've been looking around for cheaper avenues, I'm looking to be able to construct this entire chest for probably less than $100, I'm trying to stick to $75/$50 but it's hard with the price of these bladders. I've found a cheap 5 pack, however they're only 500mL and they have nowhere to hang in the box, which wouldn't be ideal.

Thanks for your input.
