DIY juice taste like pure VG

So I whipped up so juice with Watkins pg extracts let them sit all night and they still taste like baby oil (kinda) now they're steeping in hot water is there anything I possibly could've done wrong? I'm conserned I may have out to much extract in but the thing is right out of the bottle I couldn't even smell the flavoring so if anyone uses Watkins or something so Iliad please help!!

Just my opinion ...

Next time, buy some flavorings that are made especially for DIY e-liquid ... and save your Watkins for use in food recipes.

From what I had read it was a suitable flavoring for juice I'm becoming aware that this was probably incorrect

What % did you use them at?I have used several watkins flavors,and most of them i had to use 15% or more,the cherry was the only one i used less,i think it was 10%.

Off the supermarket shelf food flavorings are not suited for ejuice. The are not concentrated enough and can contain undesired additives that may be harmful to vape and can cause your vaping hardware to clog or wear out coils prematurly.

Not worried about ruining coils I build them so it's all good

Most of their flavors are ok,alot of them are just flavoring and pg,some are in alchohol,so you have to let that evaporate out.The main ones you want to watch for from them are the ones that contain oil.They are all pretty weak though,but they work ok in a pinch.

I've used several Watkins flavors that are pure extract and alcohol only...they work fine.

You can evaporate some of the alcohol off first if you choose to or not..up to you.

Flavors of theirs that I have found that work well are:

Pure Peppermint
Pure Mint
Pure Orange
Pure Anise
Pure Lemon

I dump a bottle into a small bowl and nuke it a few seconds at a time until it starts steaming..steam off about 1/2 to 2/3 of the volume and syringe up the rest after it cools and put it back in the bottle.

Then I start with 2% added to my base and add a touch more if needed.

As always, your results may vary!
