Getting back on point, I use unflavored nicotine base from My Freedom Smokes, it has gone up to $50.00 per L (was $45.00). I get gallons of PG and VG for $25.00 each from Vapor World. While these vendors satisfied my needs, I'd suggest you do your own due diligence before buying anything. While the nicotine base I bought was the cheapest around at that time, I would caution against blindly choosing based solely on cost. Had they not had all the right answers I would not have purchased nicotine from them. IMHO there's a lot to be said for first buying in small quantities to assess quality before committing to a large order. Small quantities obviously cost more per ml, but can save you from an expensive mistake.I have been doing some research into getting into DIY juice to save some money and as I think it would be interesting and after a little research I am not sure how much cheaper it will be. Presently I am ordering 50ml bottles of juice for around $4.50 and at that price I don't know if I can do much better even making it on my own. If you guys could give me your opinions and maybe some rough estimates of what you spend to make the juice maybe in a 100ml batch I would really appreciate it..
Obviously vaping unflavored juice is cheapest. Adding menthol adds very little to the overall cost, and some people are content to vape menthol juice w/o any other flavors added. Adding a little ethyl maltol to tobacco flavored juices can help the flavor, as will adding a little vinegar. You can research this for more info. There are threads on making DIY flavors from a variety of things like coffee, tea, etc. Another way to lessen your cost for juice is to dilute your commercial juice with unflavored juice. Most juice can be diluted at least 10%, some strong flavors can be cut more. Mixing your commercial juice with a flavored DIY juice is another way. This is especially easy if you're buying tobacco flavors- making tobacco flavored juice into your own RY4 by adding DIY caramel and vanilla is a natural. There are ready made RY4 flavoring as well.
This barely scratches the surface. Best bet is to read-read-read!
