I've cut down my mixing and experimenting time significantly with an easy shortcut.

Instead of mixing my 36mg PG, no-nic PG and 35% VG to 12mg for each small 3 or 5ml experiment, I've pre-mixed 30ml of 12mg base with above ratios leaving room for 15% flavor.

Now i just measure out 85% base liquid and experiment with flavor. Adding + or - 5-10% flavor does make a huge difference to the base and all this allows me to make quickie small batches.

Now that's what I am talking about.... but(if I am I am reading you right and if you didn't know) if you mix 12mg with 15% flavoring your 5ml bottle will be @ 10.2mg .... not a big difference (like you had stated) unless 12mg is the minimum strength of satisfaction

or that is what you are going for then that is ok as well

to nit pick if you wanted to get a flavored juice @12mg you will need to make approx 14mg base pre-mixes

You have the idea though.... Good Job

I mix at least 100 ml of unflavored base to a 20 mg/ml concentration. Mixing larger amounts of unflavored base makes it easier to add "precise" amounts of each base ingredient, plus you do it once in a while rather than all the time. We vape at around 18 mg/ml here.

TBH, I never adjust the nic level for more or less flavoring to be added because an exact amount of nicotine has never been necessary for me and my family.

For new flavors I just draw out 3 ml of the base, then experiment with the flavor.

For established flavors I use my notes to add my preferred amount of flavor to the base.

Simplest idea but I was whipping out all my damn equipment for every 3ml experiment for weeks.

I do something very similar to your down mixing. It saves time.

But my motivation was because I have 100mg and 50mg nicotine bases. I wasn't that comfortable handling 100mg juice without gloves. And I didn't want to put on gloves just to mix up a 5 or 10ml batch.

So I did kinda what you did and reduced the 50mg and 100mg down to 28mg which seemed much easier and Safer to work with.
