When menthol heats up it melts, alcohol, pg will keep it suspended. Vg without the alcohol, they will form back to crystals.
Ok that explains why it happened yesterday and never before then. I live in Canada, it was like 10 degrees C inside lol. Shouldn't form back today is warm but if It does I'll add more watermelon PG.
at night it gets cold but now I know what to do so I can vape it that day at least... may have to do it a few times.
Either that or a warm bath should be fine.also body heat works too!
This past winter we were living in the mountains in Georgia, and it happened to me and I just put mine on top of the heat vent or stuck the bottle in a hot cup of water.
Awesome, you'd think it would have happened. in the winter but place I rent they like it at 20c in winter, leave heat off in spring/fall pretty much so varys and like 18c in summer. So in winter it feels super cold outside and summer feels like a sauna lol. I asked why not 18 in winter and 20 in summer?... makes more sense and would save them $ lol.
I've learned alot this past month on menthol crystals, its chemistry and that it can be fatal in pure form so just read up on it, and keep your juice at body temp and you will be fine! What you used to make you juice this time is what they call menthol drops. I make my own and add to my ejuice.
The frist time I did it, I didn't add enough PGA it happened. Then the one brand I was buying already made,when it got cold it would form crystals.
good thing i didn't vape it then lol. about a month ago i started DIY then making my own coils. better at getting around 1.8ohm on my old evods then kangertech now lol. their 1.8ohm read around 2ohm mine are about 1.85ohm. Fav's are watermelon sweet tarts, watermelon menthol and huckleberry, huckleberry has chemicals in it but from my understanding 1ml vaped is about 95% less then whats in cigs.
been a few hours now and one looks perfect, other has tiny bit of gel like on top so I'll just remove the first few ml to be safe.
Almost 2 : 1 ... pretty stiff mix
Guess they're already at the upper limit of solubility there...
I do 30 grams of mentholy crystals in 30 ml of PG ( or PGA, if more throat hit is desired ).
About 3 % of that mix is ample for menthol feel. Above 7%, see-through ribcage
Does need some heating in water bath and shaking to dissolve properly but haven't had it re-crsytallize on me, even when frigging cold outside.

I was used to what shop calls Stitches. Like Pimp juice clone with more menthol. 8% was close, 10% was about the same. I started at 4% and had to add 15 drops. My recipe takes out the grape and just added more watermelon... tastes better IMO. May try watermelon candy next, hear it's a tad sweeter.
Name like stitches says it all lol I actually had to add about 1/3 just watermelon to their mix so it's probably more like 14%.
Fixed the rest of it. since it was at the top I guess that part wasn't in the bath so I let it sit upside till it went to the bottom and gave it another bath. all 70ml crystal clear now. Fingers crossed it stays that way over night lol.
