So Cal
I've made an unflavored base: 6mg, 80/20 (or close to that - I forget). It makes me cough like crazy! I've used exactly the same ingredients to make other flavored mixes, 50/50, which don't make me cough. I did try vaping them both alone unmixed, but then they both made me cough LOL. I thought maybe it was just the day of the week that was to blame, but the same thing is happening today :p

I can vape 100% VG juice fine - such as Boba's Bounty/GJ, etc. So why is this making me cough? It's not a huge deal, since I usually vape around 50/50, but I would love to know why?

(The VG is a gallon from Essential Depot).

Also check your atty... re-frying nearly carbonized gunk can yield some pretty foul results. Burnt rubber rubber grommets are a possibility too.

If all is new and fresh outta the box and you're still coughing you could be one of the few vapers that are sensitive or even allergic to one of the ingredients. Some folks do develop that in the course of their vaping 'career'. It's rare but there are threads here where fellow vapers report adverse effects. If all else fails, give PEG400 a try.
