By the end of yesterday I really felt quite dizzy and headache. I was vaping what I felt to be like a lot because I felt like it was more often then I was smoking, but less drags at a time. Anyway, Not sure if I wasn't getting enough nicotine or too much?! Although I woke up feeling dizzy too so I am thinking it is partial withdrawal? I was a Pack a day of ultra lights and am on 10 mg's right now. TIA for any thoughts

If you just quit smoking... odds are you are experiencing normal withdrawal symptoms from smoking. It can take a few days to a couple of weeks for your body to adjust to the lack of carbon monoxide and increase in oxygen in your bloodstream.

It would help to know what strength of e-juice you are using... if the dizziness/headache occurs mostly when vaping you should reduce the nicotine level you are using.

I notice that I vape different nic levels. In the evening, in front of the TV, I vape lower because it is in front of me. But, on the run and being busy, I use higher.

I think many went through what you are experiencing, me included. At first I just had my APV nearby. I got a feel for my needs. Also, there is some withdrawal going on. the tobacco companies put a lot of bad stuff in cigs. My body had to go through some changes; pretty quick though.

Ok, so this might be really stupid of me but after you said that about the mls per day I went and looked at (my tank?) And I have only used .5 mls since yesterday at 1:00 soooo that seems like maybe I'm not vaping enough to not have strong withdrawals?? Sorry if I seem stupid. Trying to figure it all out and quit. There is a piece of me that wants to go to no nic and then I'll know that it is just withdrawals for a while and it'll be over. Trying not to make myself and my family miserable while I quit!

Btw the first week was hell for me between the coughing, dizziness, and frustration. Your body is rejecting something new and the vapor looses up some tar in lungs. Don't be surprised if you start coughing up brownish flem... that's okay.

But if you feel really sick a doctors appoint is always a good thing. Just be honest and realize your body is adjusting to something different.

Hi Jgatt. Congratulations on making the switch.

I found it difficult to tell the difference between too much and too little nicotine when I started. The symptoms are similar and when you are taking regular sips, you may never know.

What helped me was to stick to the same patterns I had when I was smoking. Vape for 5 to 10 minutes and then put it away for an hour or two. It gave me a chance to feel the difference.

Good luck finding what works for you.

Hi, I starting vaping properly and have up smoking on the 3rd of July and I've only in the last month started to feel myself again.
I was getting headaches, going dizzy, extremely tired, muscle aches, coughing up ..... and all sorts.
Went for blood test, ecg and lung xray and all come back normal although obviously if your concerned consult with your gp, just because I was fine doesn't make it ok.
Just take it easy on the vaping until you get use to it as the biggest problem I found compared to analogs is obviously, being electric, it's doesn't burn down.
I found 8-10 vapes was roughly a analogs worth of intake.
Stay strong and good luck

If you have truly only used 0.5ml of 10mg liquid, then you got very little nicotine.
If that's really true, it sure doesn't sound like nicotine overdose.

Not even a never-smoker would overdoes at that rate.
