Now that I am just getting into the mod end (with one whole mod  ) I realize the serious need for a Multi-Meter. Like a novice finds themselves when trying to read "everything" before a purchase, I am suffering from severe information overload.

For the basic needs of voltage measurements, resistence for atties and maybe mah information, is there a specific model or make you experienced folks suggest?

I don't want a disposable and I want to pay enough to feel it will last more than 2 weeks if you know what I mean. Any feedback is appreciated! :)

I just got a $15 wal mart model, first one I saw, and it works great. Just make sure you set it properly and it is calibrated(reads 0 when needles touched together), and whichever one you choose should be fine.

yep there is no need to go out and buy a Fluke for vaping purposes. Any cheap 10-20 dollar meter will work fine for the very basic needs vapers have.

This is a dependable, inexpensive($19.99) meter from Radio Shack.

It's not showing, but I believe that's the one that has the flip cover.

Biggest problem with cheap meters, are the cheap test leads that come with them, the connectors
tend to come loose, poor connections. Replacements are available and necessary even with more
expensive meters, the leads are the attys of the meter world. :)

I'd never own a meter without owning a soldering iron...then again, I'd never own a soldering iron without a MM :)
