just finished my first dna 20 mod. what do you guys think? Dont mind the cheap trustfire in there. I was using it quite a but with my AW and drained it pretty quick and had to throw them on the charger. I had some paint left from fixing some rust on the car and decided to make my mod match the car too. It just looks black in the pics but its really a metallic midnight blue. i love the size, it feels really nice in my hand.

nice job
is the case home made ?

i used an dual 18650 battery case from ebay. i cut the top section off and used some steel epoxy on the top to strengthen it.

very nice my friend,as I see you did not use the onboard boards up,down.the way you've put the tactile buttons is really great!!!!

thanks, soldering the buttons on the board saved me a lot of space and not have to deal with all the extra wire. If i build another one i will make it with a recessed 510 connector for a tank. I think i can squeeze another centimeter from that side of the box. I wanted to use the on board buttons but they would have to be on the other side of the screen and i needed that plate to be removable. I think it's only really usable if it's a tube mod or the board is permanently covered.

How did you do your up and down buttons? They look like they are soldered directly to the board on the back. Or did you wire them up and just fold them over onto the back? :O never mind, now I see they are soldered direct, that's clever. Wish I had thought of that. It would have made the one I put together a lot easier.

it was a lot easier and gives me a bit more room for the fire button, im waiting for a bigger steel button to come in the mail that will hopefully fit in there.
