This is. indeed, one VERY nice-looking mod. Well done!!!

But it looks nothing like a bomb. Anyone who thinks this looks like a bomb probably also thinks that when you get shot with a .357 magnum, your body flies backwards 20 feet--educated from Hollywood...

I've seen a LOT of "investigative evidence" from actual bombs that have been found by LE in the field, and this mod looks NOTHING like any bomb that anyone has ever made that I know of--from the lowliest hippie leftist pipe bomb to the most sophisticated micro-mechanical device put together by an insane Harvard-educated math genius.

This mod is WAY too small, way too clean, and WAY too tightly-constructed to even resemble anything bomb-like, unless it was a bomb constructed by GE under a Federal Contract to the DOD or CIA...

Anyone who says this mod looks like a bomb should be smacked in the head, and then point at and laughed at hysterically, and then just pitied for being a delusional, uneducated, brainwashed sheeple who gets their reality handed to them through a screen...

IMR Mod Battery - 18650 - 18500 - 18350 | Texas Select Vapor has a 3500 mAh. Ive seen some others on the flashlight forums not too common though, they seem to make the larger cells in different chemistries(?). I saw a couple that run up to an equivalent to a D size. with the 1.5" (ID?) tube I think with a little work you could fit two 18650's in and fold the dna over them so the batteries and board could share the same space and have a mod thats fat but only the height of batteries and connector.

Stereo, that is one hell of a compliment. The good thing about the bomb assumption is that it's a good way to start conversations about vaping with tekies and gadget freaks. I helped a couple of folks get set up with starter kits because of conversations about my mod

just a test run, made a window out of gorilla epoxy formed into the die cast aluminum. its full of bubbles and distorts quite a bit, so I'm on the hunt for a more optically friendly epoxy.

the only wall thickness indicated on hammonds spec draft is 2.5mm, but thats for the back wall I think the sides and door are a little thinner.

I tapped and countersunk holes next to the window to fill with epoxy and help anchor it on the aluminum and puddled it out about 3-4mm around the window on the inside.

I think that casting resin might be exactly what i was looking for
