How's the Cloupor DNA40?
In use every day. At first I thought the screws will bother me but not at all. I like even the color although my mom made me allergic to green and orange
I'm glad I bought it from you. No chance you'll get it back :pervy:

A DNA200 will be my next. Still not sure if it's an own build or a prebuild. Until I have everything together (my wife shortened my vapingbudget :-x) there should be a bunch of DNA200 mods.

Good to hear! I have 2 DNA40's that are just collecting dust (another Cloupor DNA40 with large screen and Hana V4). I stopped using my Boxer but that's because I'm done testing with it. I still grab my VS DNA40 or rDNA40 every day.

Weird that it only seems to be the VS that overdrains the battery. At least I haven't heard of any other DNA40 mods doing that. Evolv should have solid protection in place, so what is VS doing to screw that up?

Have a E7.. 3 days the batt drops to 1.3v ..! And I only used it sparingly at night! Could be a bad connection

I wonder. Do lifepo4s amp ratings still work like lipos? where you take the mah X the C rating /1000?

edit: looked around and apparently it's just ah X C so 2.1 X 20 = 42 amps continious.

Caved in and bought a Turnigy nano-tech 2100mAh 3S1P 20~40C lifepo4. about a centimeter shorter than the lipo I have now but I kinda need that space to properly run those wires.

Now what to do with the lipo I have.

Im going for a tiny dna200 mod for my next build something like the pic 90 x 38 x 30mm case using a 2 cell lipo 90 x 35 x 25 inner dimensions would be perfect
I will never buy a prebuilt mod again if anything goes wrong strip it down and change the faulty part.

For someone who's never soldered before. How hard/dangerous is it to build one? Mostly due to the LIPO batery, that's my main concern.

Best to learn to solder first. Practice, practice, practice first before building anything. Many soldering tutorials on YouTube....

As with any build or any battery you need to be careful not to short the battery while soldering.

I recommend that you strip and solder one wire at a time. Don't leave the risk of short open for accidents.

I would not work on a Lipo as my first soldering experience. That said, if you are careful you should be able to give it a go if you practice first on similarly sized wires. Working with the lipo is working with all hot wires so you typically strip/tin/tape and move on. Each end you are working with stays taped until you are ready to work with it. You should be able to do the work without touching the lipo as you can order one with the connector you want installed on the hot end and the charging end so you are only soldering the connection to the board.

Thanks guys!
It's quite overwhelming all of a sudden, so I'd rather pay someone to do it for me at this point.
What's the smallest mod you've been able to make with the dna200? I don't really need huge batteries as I vape at 20w maximum, the only thing that interests me on the DNA200 is the pre-heat plus the upgrade-ability and TCR curves.

So, something more pocket friendly is what I'm looking for and the Hana v200 does look quite tallish

Im no expert but once lipo 2 cell update is released I reckon your be looking at a something the size of a hana v4 single battery just a bit wider and little bit taller but limited to 133 watts which is fine for me as I vape about 20 watts but sometimes see the preheat going up to about 70 watts when cold

For me its the fact that as soon as I press the button it ready to go instantly
