Well, I have dug a bit deeper. It appears this will use a genuine evolv chip. If true my prior experience with Hotcig is irrelevant.

The question then becomes will it be recognized by eScribe.

I am with you on swapping the battery...
Recognized by EScribe? Of coarse.

Will you be able to charge this trough USB to?
I gonna have to find a USA/EU connector for that balance charger, so want to be sure you just can charge that one trough usb to, dont see why not?
125 bux is to stupid to not grab it as a backup.
Careful. Check the input voltage. It's not only the plug. USA uses 110V while we use 220V.

Most devices accept an input current of 110-220V but assumption is the mother of all F...

I once found an old Sony TV (1974?) in the attic which had an input voltage selector (that I didn't notice). It was a pretty cool sound when I plugged it into my 220V socket while it was set to 110V... Sounded like "zasshh zzzzz PPPPPAAAAAAAA!!! And then shhhhhhh..."

As in no computer at all. I gotta walk down the street to anything more powerful than a tablet lol. I just got it today and when I go past 100 watts in kanthal mode it flashes max ...........etc. I bought a hammond box with a 200 and 900 mah Lipo in it from vapingmall.com. I won some cash so I got it on a whim. A buddy is gonna give me his old desktop running XP. But not for another week.

EDIT: "temperature protected" is the first thing getting turned off. Hate that message.

Guys, I just checked the Fasttech page and it says it comes with the LiPo charger and it has a USA plug on it.

So Mono, your golden.

Sadly just like tsavei im from louzy EU. Im just wait till it arives, then see if can use a simple plug transformer (wich i got from old usa ps2s) or need buy a step down thingy. Long i can charge trough usb in beginning it be ok, order is placed, was scared the coupon would run out lol.

Sorry Mono,

I didn't notice your location. I would almost bet it will work from 100 VAC to 220 VAC but if not the Xformer you have will do the trick.

I don't blame you for ordering early. Not even Vape Deals believes the coupon will last long. It may even be the case that the coupon outlast the immediate supply. So my opinion is it was a smart move on your part. Heck just the DNA 200 would have cost you almost $100 with shipping and tax if you get taxed like Tony does.

There's literally a thread dedicated to the VS a few topics down with a few people who own the Vs and even some video reviews. Did you not see that?
Thank you for the heads up. Between work and family I've had little time to go to ecf. I followed what was going on by saved favorite threads. I would Google Vaporshark DNA 200 ecf and invariably it would point to quotes on this thread. I appreciate your help. Thanks again!

A question to all the people who already own a DNA 200 mod. Most of them have 900-950maH batteries, my question goes out to you guys: How is the battery life? Please let me know, how you vape on top. Resistance, Watts, TC or not, etc. I'm trying to get an idea about the 900-950 mods, thank you!

A 900 mAh range battery wouldn't get me through half a day without topping up but I vape a lot on dual coil tanks and occasionally dual coil drippers. I set it to 75 watts TC and adjust temp to my liking at that moment. I go through on average 20 ml per day of juice.

I initially thought that plugging in to charge during the course of the day would be a pain but it turns out its really not. USB blocks and ports are everywhere so I frequently plug it in between going for a vape. Stays topped up and haven't had any issues. My guess is if you are willing to top up when you can, the battery capacity won't be something you really even notice.

Add a couple of PowerBanks that take your old 18650s and you are good for trips to remote places, I have enough 18650s now to last me 2 weeks away from a power supply and kept my DNA200s going recently on a couple of camping trips with no problem at all.
