you mean yours doesn't make you a cup of joe? mine does! i have my relo set up to make a cup every morning at 8 am. you just have to remember to sit your relo above a coffee cup because the coffee comes out the vent holes on the bottom.;)

edit....sorry forgot to tell you the button sequence for coffee, DOH! if you want regular it's...while locked, hit fire button 15 times. 16 times for decaf. and 17 times for dunkin donuts chocolate glazed doughnut (my fav).

dang, mine won't make coffee either... maybe a bug? or an update I missed....

EDIT: tried the button pushes.... mine made hot tea and crumpets. I must have version 4....
To make a cup of coffee you just need to make a small Python script and route the coffee through the atomizer. I mean why else would they have given us the Python option?

the funny thing is the way you describe it, it actually could be possible to make a cup of coffee using the the dna200 through escribe, lol! you'd have to get pretty creative with an apparatus that can be run from the mods' 510 - heating the water then pumped to the coffee grounds!

A possible way to get around future restrictions on vaping devices? It's not an apv, it's a coffee maker.

Evolv released an updated test/beta firmware yesterday (Firmware version 2016-02-23 - EScribe version 1.0.41). According to James at Evolv ""The changes are smaller this time around, but I think the improvement to power adjust speed will be welcome"

Cheers,
Steve

Edit After installing the update I noticed a Temp Locked Hold Up Down screen was added. Really nice for those of us who are using custom themes. I asked and James delivered

Yep..... test EScribe update and firmware update of yesterday working just fine on my two DNA200's. My Windows 10, 65 bit 'puter also warned me that it saw the .exe install file as an unrecognized app. Norton Internet Security says the file is safe. Good to know Win10 is doing it's job and lets me know before installing that it didn't recognize the file, that's all. I can turn off that feature in Windows.

Mine are all working good as well. I got the same warning, and Norton said it was safe. Windows didn't recognize the app but I did so I installed it . I also agree with the bit about being happy Win 10 was doing it's job.

Steve

James promptly explained this (gotta love the interaction between Evolv and the consumer):

We reissued our code signing certificate to SHA-2 so Windows 10 would recognize it post-2016. (The earlier 'corrupt or invalid signature' people were experiencing is Microsoft... stretching the truth... to force developers off SHA-1 certificates.)

It's a new certificate, so SmartScreen should recognize it as "safe" in a day or two. If we had paid extra for an "extended validation" code signing certificate, of course, we would have gotten "immediate reputation". Protecting YOU... from people who don't pay them enough.

Good times.

I agree 100% and had already seen it over there. That's invaluable the interaction we get with Evolv. I don't know if you have noticed but I have been spending more time there.

Cheers,
Steve

Working fine on all my mods :)

BTW, I don't know if this is common knowledge but to copy settings from one device to another, I download the settings from mod A, disconnect the board, connect mod B and press upload settings. I then disconnect and connect mod C and press upload again and so forth until all mods are exact clones between each other. Saves me a lot of time and avoids errors.

Probably old news anyway.

Does that also copy the mod settings such as mod resistance, thermal properties etc?

It copies everything as far as I know. Settings, profiles, custom screens, material etc

Just make sure you change battery settings afterwards if your mods have different power sources and all specific settings like mods resistance, if you use that.

Not sure how accurate that statement is but SHA-1 was depreciated by Microsoft back in 2013 due to potential vulnerabilities. And in part due to publications by the NSA & NIST

And it's not a Microsoft thing it's an industry that's aware of the weaknesses of SHA-1 and is replacing it.

It's accurate. SHA-1 is being deprecated by everyone because of attacks that have been published in the public literature (not to mention what NSA can probably do in secret).

Oh, and by the way, SHA-1 and SHA-2 were designed and published by NSA. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, eh? :smokie:

The statement I was questioning the accuracy of was quoted from James "Microsoft... stretching the truth... to force developers off SHA-1 certificates."

But yea I'm feeling it, thanks for bumping up my paranoia level. :)
