It really is the standard IMHO. I just got an RX200 and use Ti1. I used my VT200 as my reference and dialed up a TCR until the RX performed like the DNA200 at the temp I like. I sure trust Evolv more than the others.

I absolutely love my RX200 but I just went through two different tanks about an hour ago that the RX200 refused to lock in as SS but the Efusion locked them both in as SS with no problems at all. With either of those tanks I have to use a drastic TCR to keep them in TC on the RX, go figure. Once locked in the vape is still smoother & better on the dna 200 so in other words I am sold.

looks like my hana battery is dead. bad cell. i am trying recovery right now but it is getting too hot. it is reasonable though as there are over 4 million puffs on it. luckily hana is not far. no need to drive there though they will mail me a battery. batteries are exhaustible but i have yet to have any dna200 board quit. that is much more than i can say for most other chips. i am not interested in the rx at all even though i cannot get another locally with a dna200. i dropped mine and it chipped. i mean wismec. i wish companies would always anodize and not paint. even so their paint is good.

Here's a couple pictures of my DNA200 mods. The Limited Edition Blood Red Lavabox is magnificent! The pictures really don't do it justice.

Nice Collection!!! :D:thumb:

I just got my first DNA200 today, The Lavabox. Was a decision between that and the HCigar VT200. Love the look and feel of the Lavabox, but I dont like the Plastic screen(Scratches) Didn't think of that before buying(Didn't know) but it really doesn't bother me!

Iv just been messing with Escribe trying to get it right!
Is it normal in Power mode for the DNA200 to have a slow ramp up? Like, if set to 30Ws the screen will show around 25Ws first.

Also, the Resistance moves up and down in power mode, again, dont know if this is normal... lol

Need to keep experimenting with the Mods Resistance.... :)

Thanks for the kind words Mike, I appreciate it. Mine does the same thing in power mode (I normally only use TC), I just checked. At 30 watts it jumps to 24.8 then to 30 almost immediately. The resistance also increases as the coil heats up I believe. I think what you are seeing is the display giving you the power readout as it's being applied to the coil. Hook it up to Escribe and go to the device monitor to see your power graph as you are taking a puff. I don't really use mine in power mode though.

Here's a link you might want to check out about setting up a DNA200. In it are also links to Evolv's DNA200 Early Adopters Forum. Lots of great information there as well.

Thanks for the info! I surprisingly have not tried TC yet, as I have not had it long, and have been setting up Profiles and what not.
In Power mode it reads the Correct Atty's Resistance then changes as you vape, so I think it shows it like it would in TC. Also glad to hear the ramp up in Power mode is normal like that! Thank You very much for checking for me!! :D

In power mode it shows a live resistance reading. In TC it shows the room temperature resistance (the display doesn't change as the resistance rises). I sent you a PM by the way. I think you are really going to like your Lavabox, I know I do!

Edit At least with my brief experimenting in power mode that's what it looks like to me. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers,
Steve

Only thing I might add to what Wingsfan0310 mentioned is that some vapors have ask if Evolv would, or could, add a feature whereby one could adjust preheat, punch, and the duration while in Power Mode like you can in TC mode.

I've got the all black Lavabox and will be keeping my eye out for this. Longer battery life would be a nice add.

I also noticed how nice your blood red Lavabox looks and that you have the TFV4 mini. I have the red o-rings and vape band on my mini sitting on the black Lavabox, but that would look nice on the blood red model, but can't spring for another at this point just for aesthetics.

Thanks for the compliment on the Blood Red Lavabox, it's even nicer in person than in pictures. I had been eyeing it every since they sent me the E-mail announcing it. When they sent me the 20% off coupon for their Presidents Day sale I couldn't resist any longer :D. Between the coupon and discount points, it was just under $130 shipped. Not inexpensive, but relatively speaking a pretty good deal. I will say when I opened it up it was even nicer than I hoped it would be. As I'm sure you know, it doesn't always turn out like that.

Cheers,
Steve

guys i apologize if this is a stupid question i don't know. i was surprised to see the size of the battery in the hana v200. is the efusion larger because of the size of the battery that is in it? i would just go find out but i do not want to wreck my carbon fiber "stickers". i was just wondering. i guess these batteries are small for what they do. there is a huge amount of current being pulled from these. i just wondered why the efusion is larger but i doubt there is empty space in it. i really like these though.

The Efusion has a 1300mah 3s Lipo in it. That's a pretty nice sized one, my Lavabox by comparison is a 900mah 3s Lipo. Here's a link if you are interested.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit I just looked up the Hana V200 and it seems like it uses a 950mah 3s Lipo according to this link.

Let me give a personal observation that you might want to consider. I have used soft cell and hard cell Li-Po batteries in DNA devices for years. Used them in DNA20, 30, 40, 25, and now the 200's. Over the years I had two soft cell Li-Po begin to "swell". I changed the batteries immediately and monitored the old batteries. The swelling stopped and the batteries did not "go ballistic". In the process of trying to determine why the first battery began to swell I communicated with many "modders" and one other modder had a similar event. The only thing we noticed was the batteries were near the end of the "duty cycle" having been charged so many times.

I post this just to ask that you guys consider periodically checking the soft cell Li-Po battery in your devices for swelling when it gets close to the end of it's duty cycle. Battery safety is important no matter the type of Lithium battery you use.

If you watch the review from Fagn on Youtube for the original Efusion 200 he has pictures sent from Efusion on the insides, suffice to say it a pretty tight fit but check it for yourself.

thanks guys. i had no idea it was that big. i figured that was why the efusion was larger than tha hana. i wonder where i could get that battery besides from efusion? i don't need any yet though. it seems every hana prematurely dies. plus being one of the most expensive ones. luckily i can drive to them. it is not a short ride though. i really like the efusion. i have six of them. only one hana v200 now dead. one cell went bad. although there are over 4 million puffs on it. so perhaps it lasted plenty long. i honestly find the efusion lasts as long as the wisemec with 3000mah red samsungs. i only charge usb so it only matters that the batteries are replaceable easily when exhausted. plus i think 18650's last longer. don't know. any way you cut it i love the dna200. other than batteries it is the first truly reliable chip for me. not to mention it is the best vape yet.

Still trying to do the math on 4 million puffs. Just guessing its 8 months old.

4,000,000 > 8 months
500,000 > month
16,666 > day
How much juice do you go through?

Spirometry,

The question might better be does he ever stop vaping to take a breath of pure air.
