Can anyone tell me if it is possible to simply swap profiles somehow, or do I have to set them up manually again to accomplish this?

Make profile number 3 number 2 instead -op vice versa- for example.
Easiest way is to save each profile than open it in the other slot, buttons at the bottom of each profile tab.

That went easy enough, thanks

I have a question that has been bugging me for days maybe even months but it's really ramped up the last few weeks as I have started to build a DNA stockpile. For note I started with an AxisVapes M-17, then got a Modcrate Silo-2000. About two weeks ago I got my first Triade in. Now yesterday I finally got in a Red SMY SDNA200 and SDNA 75.

So anyone else having a problem with 316L always being off by .01 ohms? Started out as an issue with my M17 but that was with thin wire (maybe 28g) on an avocado and that thing was a bit wild. Always bouncing around insanely. So I locked the resistance to where I thought was the real cold resistance. But I blamed my issues on the avocado and going small. But as time has gone on more and more of the devices do the same thing with more and more atty's. Some tanks/mods eventually work themselves out after a good night sleep (my Triade with a Boreas has been a dream since the morning after I set it up). Honestly for the most part I have been kind of marrying atty's with whatever Atty fits it's job or looks good on it, so I am usually ok with the taking it's time to figure out an atty. Because the two won't be separated for weeks.

But now I got my SMY's in (the two reds noted above) and have another SDNA 75 coming in next week. The two SDNA 75's in particular will be pocket mods (which honestly after getting the Red it's the perfect pocket DNA, cheap, well put together (screen is slightly tilted, might fix that later) and the finish seems like it can take a beating). As my on the go/chore mod (specially the black on coming in) I need to be able to put whatever Atty I want on it and start vaping pretty quick. Problem is that I get a real weak vape at 400F (my usual vaping temp) and even cranking it up past 500 it feels like barely 300 though I start getting the vapor production I want. Now eventually it might correct itself but then I am getting surprised with a really hot vape.

Originally I was thinking that maybe I needed to play with the internal resistance on Axis and even in the Silo since those came with pretty much no configuration. But I really didn't want to mess with it once it really got on point. The Triade especially since it was my favorite tank, with my favorite juice, vaping perfectly the next morning before I had time to worry. But the Triade and the SMY's came highly preconfigured and all of them are having the same cold coil issue. Any ideas?

*Evolv has released a new Early Firmware*. I haven't tried it yet. I'm getting ready too. I was just reading where someone said it smoothed out SS TC. Like I said, I haven't tried it yet. Here's the copy and paste from their site:

[EARLY]
*** 2016-08-05 EScribe 1.2 ***
https://downloads.evolvapor.com/escribe/archive/SetupES250_2016-08-05.exe (57MB standardalone installer)
This version improves a lot of the basics of EScribe. Here is a list of improvements, by no means complete:
- Most windows are no longer modal.
- In Options, User Interface allows you to choose a desired complexity.
- This version is more modular. Device Monitor, Calculator, Production Utility, and Serial Terminal are now all optional install and can run separately.
- Other changes.

Device Monitor has been improved as well:
- You do not have to start EScribe to launch Device Monitor. It can be launched independently from the Start menu.
- You can run multiple copies of Device Monitor, and uploading/downloading settings will pause it.
- You can scroll back in time.

This version can communicate with DNA 60, 75, 200, and 250.
Early Firmware - Evolv DNA Forum

Cheers,
Steve

Edit I have tried it and the TC on SS316L is vastly improved imo. Just early results but very promising!

Edit 2 After installing the new firmware your battery bar will temporarily show no life/discharged. This can be remedied 3 ways:
1. Perform a soft reboot
2. Let the mod sit idle for a couple of minutes.
3. If your mod has removable batteries, remove them and reinstall

Wings.... it smooths out SS beautifully like the DNA75.... folks have been waiting for that.... I'm interested in seeing how the "Evolv DNA Custom" product now described on Evolv's web site comes together... The only device Evolv ever produced was the Darwin and now this.... gonna be interesting.... ( and my 5+ year old Darwin still looks and works just like the day I bought it....)

SS316 "Notch Coil" using latest firmware we are discussing:

"Save Profile" and "Load Profile" for each one you want to move around...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK!!!!! Another reason why I love Evolv! (Just wish I could have found this easier on their site?) SS is working perfectly on my 200 just like my 75.

Although, my battery continues to show 0% after several soft reboots and a hard reboot. Hopefully this resolves itself with time.

I'm considering getting a 133. Anyone know if it has any issues with SS316?

Are you asking about a VT133 or VS133? The graphs I posted were taken while using a VT133.

Steve

I use the "Upload Settings" rather than reboot, it's worked for all of mine to return the battery symbol to normal.

I'm looking forward to this. As I am new to Evolv, do you (and obviously some of you already have) wait a bit to be sure the firmware upgrade is stable, or just update on availability? Like any software, bugs might not be apparent until in general use. Also, is there an option to roll back to an earlier firmware version should you prefer?

Now that you 'say' that, I remember reading that somewhere else too. Thanks!
There is no such thing as a DNA133 board. It's a DNA200 running at 133 watts. DNA200 boards are throttled back to 133 watts when only running 2 cells in series.

Cheers,
Steve
