In the Escribe manual under warning messages it states:
"Temperature Protected: The heating coil reached the maximum allowed temperature during the puff. If this happens, the dna 200 will continue to fire, but will not be able to provide the desired wattage."

In Escribe, this is in the list for WARNING messages. As this is my first DNA200 product, I'm confused as many state the onscreen message that flashes 3 times default on the mod "Temperature Protected", just means the device has reached the temp the user set. There are many other online posts where users are trouble shooting, perhaps connnection issues etc., that mention TP warnings are an example of their problem.

If seeing this message after firing is a GOOD thing, why is it listed as an ERROR message? I know you can turn that message off, but that does not make sense to me.

Also adding to my confusion is on my Titanium coil build .33 ohms, the vapor is the same at 10 watts and 200 watts, while the manual says "wattage" is what effects vapor production, not temperature, and I assume these are related.

Thanks for any help.

I've not had the pleasure of seeing that reference 510 but I doubt that spring has anything on the one in my Dicodes 2380...LOL

I agree. One of the first things I did was turn off that message. Reaching the set temp is exactly what it is supposed to do.

Can someone take two seconds to help a fellow noob to escribe out? I'm in escribe, go to custom wire, click on custom materials, takes me to evolv, wire wizard. But when I click "download Taft table as csv" it just opens a new tab with chart of the tfr it doesn't d/l or save it anywhere on my desktop. Sorry if this too vague, the way I'm describing it. I'm crappy with comps. Oh and this a Windows tablet. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

Try right clicking on the .csv file and save as ... oh it is a tablet...maybe long press to get the right click menu?

Ya it's tablet only options are: open in a new tab, open in a new window, copy link, and finally, inspect element.

EDIT: I've just been messing around with manually entering stuff on the graph using the special tab under the graph and plotting different points along it. So far it's working good with this Ti build I'm finding you need a certain amount of plot points etc. Still learning and fiddling. I'll just wait till I get a desktop to do the stuff I can't on this tablet.

Ok. When it opens in a new tab, you should be able to click the file menu option, then click save as ... and save it as a text file to your desktop (make sure you change the file type to txt). Once the file is saved, just rename it with a ".csv" extension.

I would think it was easier to continue to try and load a proper csv than to manually plot one.
Of course it would be easier. I don't want to manually enter it. I'm trying get this tablet to behave. When I click open in a new window it says " something on this page needs an app that isn't installed."

What csv are you looking for?
The titanium 1 from wire wizard. I'm trying everything. I suck at pc's. It's using Microsoft edge for the browser. It keeps telling me "something on this page needs an app that isn't installed." I thought since its the newest form of IE it would have all the necessary apps. IMG_20151024_154549-1.jpg IMG_20151024_154653-1.jpg

Download csv table using a different browser, Google chrome for example. It doesn't play nicely with the Windows 10 browser.
