So are they 3x 600 or 3x 1800 lipos in plain english?
Was hoping 3x 1800 but now you all getting me confused as everyone listing these things different.
Box is quit big, why i was thinking/hoping 1800x3

You can blame the fuzzy math on Paul Brusardo and the guys at Evolv. In the DNA200 review Brusardo said the guys at Evolv told him that the MaxAmp 900mah battery would provide the equivalent of 1800 mah, because of the way that the chip uses the available power. While this may be true, I don't know, what I am sure of is that when you run series batteries the mah of the batteries do not change. While I'm sure the Chinese engineers know this fact and they jumped on the error for marketing purposes.

I have 2 Hcigar VT200's and a DNA200 Reuleaux all bought for under $120, all from the USA. I also have a Hotcig DX200 for $112 bought from China. The only DNA200 I have paid more for is a Lavabox and that was in the $130's. Deals are out there if you look.

Cheers,
Steve

The mAh doesn't change but the voltage triples (3 cells = 11.1v nominal). This means that for a given wattage, a 3 cell Lipo will use 3 times less the amperage than a single 18650 battery. So it's essentially 3 times the battery life because it is working 3 times less as hard. So, it's fine to say a 3C 900mAh Lipo = 2700 mAh. It's not technically accurate, but it works out about the same.

The best way is to use Watt/Hours, which Busardo explained at the beginning of his DNA-200 video. My VT200 tested out at 11.1 W/hr (which is 1000 mAh). A Samsung 25R (2500mAh) is 9.25 W/hr. So, my 1000mAh Lipo has a longer life than a 2500mAh 18650.

TL;DR - You're wrong, Busardo and Evolv are right.

Just grabbed a Target Tank with cCoil... gonna see how it goes with a DNA200... coils work in my other tanks also (they say?)....

Hope ya all are having a vape-fine day.... :)
i don't know if you own an atlantis but the ccells i got a couple days ago, the ni200 5 pack, will not work in mine. they absolutely refuse to wick. i had to cut one apart just to get it to wick. go see my post in the vaporesso thread and you'll see what i'm talking about. IMO, just use em in the target.

using the vaporshark board. 2 amp charging. waiting for it to be in stock somewhere. i like the screen on top and the zip charge. however, since VS owns sbody it'll probably be a decent chunk of change.

It looks really nice. It does however have a pet peeve of mine. In the product parameters listed under battery type. It says it has a 2700mah, 3s Lipo. When I read that at first I was thinking it must be huge to have three 2700mah Lipos in it. Then it dawned on me it's using a 3s 900mah Lipo. I don't have a problem with a 3s 900mah Lipo. I do however have a problem with misleading advertisements. Since the Lipos are wired in series, the proper specs would be: 3s Lipo @ 11.1v, 900mah. I wonder if I'm the only one that, that kind of thing bothers?

PS I figure it will be $200 or above as well.

Cheers,
Steve

Nope, I don't like misleading statements like that and when the DNA200 devices were just launching, several others mentioned their dislike. Typical marketing trying to trick buyers. :grr::sneaky::nah:

Yep , it would be better, I think, if 3 cell lipo specs were listed as this one was:

The FullyMax FB900HP-3S is an 11.1V Lipo pack for use with the DNA 200. It comes with a JST-XH balance plug and 18 AWG power cables (no connector). We used this battery in the DNA 200 beta mods and it performed well.
