Me too. It's a well known charger and I've met people that swear to its performance....

And something even weirder..since I used the Panasonic I had only two "weak battery" messages and that was it. Since the Panasonic I drained two of my Sony with just one of the messages but the restarts keep going

Use the force! I mean the multimeter. Find the voltage drop -- under load. If it's the batteries themselves, they're probably fakes. If it's somewhere else, fix the problem.

Not sure if this is right topic section. I am in the process of building a DNA 30, I intend to run this board with two SONY VTC4, 5 or Efest 30 or 35amp rated battery connected in parallel with two Keystone Battery mount (1042 or 1043, I ordered both). I understand running the battery in parallel (+ with + and - with - from both battery mount) will give me the same voltage at the double usage time (more or less). Am I correct here?

My real question is I also intend to run the Evolv Micro USB charging board with this set up. Will it work with the two batteries in parallel or will it only work with a single battery? I also want to use magnet on my MOD so I can easily open the close the box without a screw driver, but It's will be easier carrying a charging cable to work rather than two batteries along with a charger. Of course I can always do that as the last resort.

In principle, yes. I believe you you should use a matched set of batteries for this, both in terms of type and cycles. If you have more than one set, I would mark them and always keep a set together -- with both batteries in the set always at the same state of charge.

It should work. But it will take a long time to charge those batteries.

Although it's OK in principle, Personally I'm not keen on paralleling batteries; there are just too many circumstances where I could see the two batteries fighting each other. If I really wanted more capacity than an 18650, I'd look at using a 26650 instead of two 18650s.

I found the solution....a battery magnet transformed the behavior of my mod completely. I can now vape 1.3ohms at 15.5watts with Vtc5 the entire day with no restarts at all..just a couple of "weak battery" and "check battery" messages I wasn't able to test a sub-ohm build at 30.0watts but I'll try it soon. Btw the way the manufacturer used a ground on the negative contact and that's why there is no wire on the negative battery terminal on the board and he said this has been done after Dna's manufacturer advice(I didn't understood exactly why). However my mod works perfectly right now.


One more thing, can I connect the battery magnet on both sides or it has to be on the positive side??

I agree with Rossum...you should better avoid paralleling batteries...for more mah you can use a single MNKE 26650 3800mah 20A. Or having more than one Sony VTC4-VTC5 or the SONY US26650VT 50A 2600mah with you to be able to sub-ohm safer (if you sub-ohm) with these 30A/50A batteries. I would never parallel batteries.
