Steve, you really are too kind. I've seen all your work that you've been gracious enough to share with us over these last few months, and all I can say is, I'm simply blown away every time. Your latest creation is world class. It's one thing to take a mod that is tough as nails, like the REO, and modify it to your liking, but to create something from scratch the way you have, twice now, simply remarkable...

Wow CUSTOM....OMG! Impressive! ...... I'm sure you know that you have created a beautiful modded Reo and I'd be willing to sign a "whoops waiver"..... I've already paid too much for my VVG which is rarely used due to that fact that it is under powered..... I'd be willing pay you every hour of labor (within reason ?) to convert my VVG into another piece of vapable art! I should have my dna40's in a couple of weeks!?? Wha cha think?

That thing is absolutely incredible. I've never seen a chip built into a Reo so cleanly. Granted you and a VVG to work off of, I imagine it would be far more difficult on a standard grand. Every other dna REO I've ever seen has some sort of box added on to it, makes me wish I went into engineering or machining work sometimes. That said, PetSmart is a pretty great place to work!

You wouldn't happen to have any drawings or a basic build doc.,for dummies? Do I need a belt sander? Mine is that "pretty metallic blue" that I'm not particularly fond of...... I do have a brand new dremel, Will that work for those cut outs?
I just decided how I wanted it laid out and took it one step at a time. Basically, I winged it... A dremmel will definitely help but a drill press will make things a lot easier.
I'm not sure about the blue finish that's on yours. If it's paint or powder coat, some Kleen Strip paint remover will make it pretty easy. I picked some up at O'rielly's..
Thanks! I don't have a drill press and I've seen some members recommend units that are wayyyyy out of my price range. Can you tell me, what did you do with the buzz chip or can you show a pic of the inside of the mod..... specifically the top delrin shield and what's behind it? Can't get over how perfect your VVG is.... I absolutely love the choice of button you used!

Is that a press fit 501 connecter? It looks like the positive connecter pin holds it all in place.
Credit goes to Gdeal on that one. It's the Fat Daddy Vapes Classic 510 insert, modified for bottom feed.

Truth be told,... I think Rob's new 510 is gonna be the best one out there for bottom feeding. That said,... right now, the fdv classic insert, modded to Gdeal's specs, is really solid. Super easy to mod and it threads in (not a press fit), so its easier to do yourself. You do have to drill the old one and then tap it. Super easy though...
