DNA 40 Evolv wattage jumps around

I have the wattage set and when I press the fire button the wattage keeps jumping from 0.3 to 7 to the 21 I have it set at. It does this everytime I press the fire button but it didn't used to do this. Is this normal or is it an issue? Its like it takes a second to get to that desired wattage. It also shows the volts going from like 3.3 to 3.9.
