I'd go for the dna30... Provaris are awesome but a little behind the times

I disagree.

Provari is for people who are ahead of the curve.

I have no need for a wattage pv to fire my 20 different juice delivery devices because Ive already found what works the best for me.

Thanks to a lot of good advice from Baditude, Mattias and others on this forum my "experimentation" phase and spending a small fortune on finding a setup that works was extremely short.

Wattage devices are appealing to people who havent found what theyre looking for yet or IMO who make things needlessly complicated when compared to the ease of smoking a cigarette.

I'm in agreement with you Zapped. I've tried RBA's and found them to be time consuming and fussy. Maybe others have had better consistancy with them than I, but they weren't for me. Maybe my eyesight isn't good enough for the tiny parts. They just weren't worth the trouble (to me).

I can slap a cartotank setup together in 7 minutes and be good to go for 2 weeks with just juice refills. I get as good of a vape with it as I ever did with the RBA. I don't need high watts or need to do sub-ohms to get a good vape with a cartotank. I hear people say cartotanks haven't advanced in two years. Well, if its not broke why fix it? I've found what works for me, and that's a cartotank and the Provari.

A lot depends on the things you haven't told us about. The provari is long in the tooth and doesn't have the cutouts to support clearos like the pro tank that require airflow through the base. OTOH, its power range better fits the most common power levels required by most users. The DNA30 does not handle low power deftly since it starts at 7-8 watts but if you want power, it's got that in spades. With the provari, the pro tanks without air flow control will tend to flood while the DNA30 can't be turned low enough. An alternative to these two which might fit your needs better might be the Semovar. Hard to say since I don't feel like I know what would suit you best. Provari for build quality using a clearo with air flow control and a DNA30 later? Chinese mod to power the clearos with a DNA30 for your RBA's? Semovar for low to medium power with a DNA30 for high power? All are viable solutions.

Aerotank, Protank with flow control adapter, Nautilus Aspire... there are a plethora of options out there. My B&M doesn't even sell Protanks anymore (speaking of long in the tooth. :) )

Yeah, but the original poster mentioned Protanks so... :D I see quite a few threads from folks who have isues using a ProTank, ProTanks 2, etc with Provari. The Provari crowd always jumps in with, ProTanks are terrible, ignoring the fact that the issue is equally attributable to the Provari's design flaws. I don't have those issues using VAMOs or Singeleis. ProTank plus Provari is a bad combination, 'nuff said.

The other variants of the clearos are mentioned under the clearos with air flow control part of the post. They also come with sharply increased coil costs. So, the OP needs to decide if he's willing to pay for a new device and more for coils. I pay about 0.76 per coil for Kanger single coils, rebuild them and have results better than I get from the BDC heads for less money. The older Kangers are a still a very viable platform.

I own both-- a provari, a hana v3, and a ZNA.

The Provari as others have said creates the standard for durability, quality, and customer service.

I dont think Hana has the durability (it scratches like no other). But other than the surface durability, it *seems* solid. Time will tell if it lives up.

I dont think the ZNA has the quality (had several issues with mine).. but it DOES have great customer service. They have been super great to deal with over the phone and replaced my unit immediately. But personally, its my favorite of the three. Its solid feeling, cool looking, and functionally robust with the DNA in there.

But for functionality, they each have their place I think. The Provari is geared more towards higher ohm coils, and lower wattages. The DNA devices are geared really towards higher wattage/lower ohm. If I put a single coil 1.5ohm build on there and target 8W, it wont regulate that low. It will fire, but it will give you more than the wattage you ask for.

The DNA is a great UI, love the battery indicator on the screen, etc. I think in usability, the DNA has the provari beat.

In the end i love them both and will use them both for specific purposes!! Cant go wrong with any of the choices IMO.
