Dna40 gold edition has stopped doing atty lock

I have a dna40 (small) with atty lock, has worked great for a couple months, then suddenly atty lock stopped working. Both buttons work, I can adjust temp (while locked) but trying to atty lock doesn't show anything.

well i know that my dna 30's sometimes do not read the ohms so i take out the batteries and it reads the ohms after i put them back in. Dont know if that will help.
