Not that I'm aware of, but that doesn't mean they are all safe for you.

Example, my oldest son is allergic to watermelon. If he eats even the tiniest bit of watermelon his eyes swell shut, this windpipe constricts, and he breaks out in hives. The same holds true for anything with watermelon flavoring because it is the same chemical that gives watermelon its flavor, from the actual fruit or the lab, that is is actually allergic to.

I think most juices are artificial flavoring. You might call Todd at Vaperite.com or Annette at VirginVapers.com and ask them as they do some natural and organic flavorings. Either of them should know if there are nut extracts in at least their ejuices.

In my 1.7 years on this forum I've never read anyone discussing it. Good question.

just wondering as i have a severe nut allergy and would be good to avoid any that do

I am unsure as to whether it is nut extract or simulated flavor but alot of your tobacco will have trace nut flavorings. Along with coffees and I would shy away from anything with "nut" in the name... It's kinda hard to trust vendor feedback when you inquire because the flavorings and their recipes are not always fully disclosed. I would be safe if I was you and DIY until you find a vendor that can fully source all ingredients in the flavorings their ejuice contains.

Up to now i have been sticking to DIY caramel which i tested the flavor out on the back of my hand (epipen on standby) but dont want to keep taking the risk every time i fancy a new flavor

ECBlendFlavors.com has an all natural, organic and allergen-free section you might want to check out.

from the description:

All Natural Certified Organic 100% VG Recipes

These water-soluable recipe flavorings are Certified Organic, All-Natural, Kosher, Vegan, Gluten Free, and contain No Allergens.

When you are in doubt, though, ask the vendor. I have found that most of them really do not want to make you sick, so they'll tell you if what you want has your allergen in it. :)
