So I have been vaping for about 2 months now, and I occasionally run into this terrible taste when vaping. It is a bit hard to describe, but it is not primer from an atty, it doesnt really taste "burnt", but it is nauseating and makes me want to throw up, kind of like the smell of a rotting fruit or something. Vodka soaking my atomizer and starting fresh with a new cart fixes everything, but I get this taste from time to time, i am starting to think it is the cart filler, or the liquid itself.

I have used the basic poly filler and normal teabags (have yet to try the lipton nylon teabag ones)and my question is, do these things rot or go stale if u just leave a cart sitting there for a while, or it just happens over time, or is it just me???

What liquid or combination of liquid do you use.

I had a nasty experience a few months ago .
3 atomisers I was rotating one after another all started to taste of rotten egg and then they got incredibly hot and were like vaping acid.

I change my cart for a new one every 4 days so only vape about 12ml liquid per cart.

I think it was the combination of liquids I had vaped in them some kind of reaction !!!.

Was switching between 3 or 4 suppliers stuff and I guess something just did not mix well.

It has never happened again .

usually, i just top off the cart and vape, and switch to a different cart when switching flavors. its funny because this never used to happen back when i first started vaping!!

The residue from your previous liquid is still in the atomiser, slowly there are layers of each liquid you vape building up on the coil.
You cannot see the coil it is under the bridge.

If you happen to vape 2 or more flavours that are for what ever reason not compatable you could get a reaction and a cruddy taste.

This is my personal opinion from my experience.

One of the chinese suppliers does say on their website not to mix their liquids with others , they may only be saying this to stop you buying from another seller but they could also know something like that could happen if you are unlucky.

I dont think you will melt the filling unless you put a naked flame to it.

There were reports of people with the 510 melting the carts by this I think they were warping the shell not actually disintigrating or burning the filling.

The large battery 6v mods I suspect could also do this if you keep your finger on the button but you are far more likely to burn out the atomiser.

What device are you using ?.

No way you are burning anything with the 901 or its generic copy the RN4075 .

The RN 4075 if you hit it repeatedly you do get the carts to loosen its like they shrink, but I am using the Screwdriver with them they never did this with the regular e-cig battery.

They definately dont taste of burning unless you are not topping up your cart enough and then it is really the atomiser that is drying out that causes the problem.

Only other thing i can think of is it is very hot where you are and that is causing your problem, Liquid should be stored in a cool place, being in Scotland and heading for winter this is not something I have any experience of.

is it possible for the poly fill to melt or is it just too high of a contrast between flavors?

if its dry it will melt,

the carts wil go stail after a couple of days, it is also helps to blow out your atty and dry burn off old flavors when switching

anyone still using POLYFILL: u really should get some Lyptons Pyramid Tea Bags, not just Tea bags, but the pyramids, It will make a HUGE difference in your vaping experience and satisfaction, speaking form experience

i just did this mod and i loved it! I bought the normal lipton tea bags at first, and they smelled like .... after a couple days, reminded me of rotton fruit or something. The PYRAMID tea bags are made of nylon, and dont really "soak" up any e-liquid, but merely just hold it in the cart.
