I've been using the 801 penstyle from Eastmall for around 2 months.

Today, my prodigy unit arrived and I used it with my 7-8 week old penstyle atty. Everything worked brilliantly for about an hour, in fact, better than it ever did! But then... the atty completely died. :(

Now, I'm aware the prodigy runs at a higher voltage and one should expect a shorter atty life expectancy... but my observations tonight seems a little extreme? :confused:

I would appreciate the thoughts of other prodigy users on the matter. Perhaps the old atty was on its last legs? or are EM 801 attys less tolerant to the voltage bump and thus more susceptible to failure?

perhaps other mod users could help you with this on the PS forum-----
steve is very helpful and will be more than happy to discuss other users experiences with you ------

I know my EM 801 attys are fine with all my ecigs,

I even use my EM 801 attys with a 6volt mod with no problems --

the tip here is to keep them wet ,
dont run the atty at high volts unless it is good and wet with juice.

A dry atty at high volts will blow in 2 seconds --

unless it is specially built to tolerate the higher voltages.

Aright, thanks. I'll give this another try. Have 3 remaining attys to play around with lol.

Hrmm, perhaps you are right about the "keep it wet or die" comment :p. Guess I'm just not used to this yet. I dripped 4 drops or so and I guess I couldn't believe It needed attention after 5-6 hits. Guess it burns through juice faster at higher voltage.

ooooohhh yyyeeyyaaaaaassss, ----

deffinately, ------

when you are vaping at high volts, --
you need 3-4 drops on the atty and then you get 4 - 6 puffs,
then you must drop again onto atty ------

higher volts burns thru that juice like a hot knife thru butter !!!!!!!!!

ok -- follow me here ----

drip, drip, drip, puff, puff, puff, puff,
:pervy::pervy:

ha ha ha --- have fun with it, but hi volts, keep it wet, wet, wet -----:)

That's really good to know, I was shopping around for a high volt mod but now I'm rethinking it. I need a raise at work before I can afford 6v vaping. :p

Hi Tecratk

yes, there are some really nice looking 6V mods out there,
and truelove and crash have done some really nice video reviews on them ---

they are easy to watch and very informative,
give them a looky, and see if anything takes your fancy ------

good luck and remember the higher volts do eat up the juice,
so be prepared ======

anyway -- you will be a pipe vapor soon wont you ????? :pervy::pervy:
