This post is in part to vent my frustration at two major components of any PV device, the atomizer and the juice/liquid, and I'm stuck at a crossroad. E-cigarette's have been around for a few years and we've come a long way to create efficient methods and products to compliment our needs, and to drive ourselves away from the dangers of using analogs. As a long time E-cig user, I know that we still have a long road ahead of us to achieve the perfect PV device but recently I've started to lose that patience.
Before I begin, this post is not intended to desecrate or to downplay suppliers or users in any way. To start, I have been using Cisco atomizers for quality and assurance of a better experience despite the cost, and I've had more good experiences than bad. This sounds good but the problem begins when I start to use 100% VG juices, where it will clogs/floods the atomizers causing the performance to drop immensely after 1-2 days. Once the performance drops, one will need to clean the atomizers or blow it from the battery end, then it will last another 1-2 days before dropping off again.
Of course, one might suggest that I should switch to pure/mixed PG juice for its thinness (which may solve the flooding issues) but that creates problems for me. Firstly, I have a reaction, not severe but a reaction non-the-less to PG juice, and it will cause a number of skin related issues. Secondly, PG juice is thin and it leaks a lot more than VG juice, and this causes me to waste close to 20% juice for each run. Therefore, I must resort to 100% VG juice but also note that I have grown fond of VG juice for its not-so-harsh throat hit, more vapor production, and also because some of my favorite flavors contain 100% VG (Boba's Bounty, Gorilla juice, Maple Tobacco, etc).
Going back to atomizers, both Cisco and Ikenvape are the only suppliers that I know of that makes quality atomizers that will give you the best experience, and that is true for the most part. The crossroad that I'm stuck at is that VG juices and Cisco/Ikenvape atomizers or any variation of atomizers do not go together. I am tired of cleaning the atomizers every 1-2 days, tired of getting nicotine of my lips sometimes, and tired of spending money left and right to find a solution that may or may not be there.
This does not mean that I am giving up electronic cigarettes since I will never go back to analogs but it means that I have no choice or at least it feels like it. I will have to endure and to wait for a supplier to come out with something more creative by being intuitive. And I hope that someone out there is putting some time and effort for us users instead of focusing entirely on the money that we put forth.
If there is a solution to this please let me know and thanks for reading,
