Do I have a problem with vaping?

Well since I stopped smoking and went to vaping I think I've developed an addiction that has turned into a serious problem.

What I do is simple. I look at vaping gear as "Collectable" and feel the need to buy and understand them all. It's not even going as far as I like using all of them, I have most of my gear still inside their respective boxes (Opened because I don't actually think their going to be worth money later on)

This has gotten to the point where I have started to buy different colored versions of mods if there are different options. For example I have a Tesla M5 that's Silver and Gold (not real gold) and another that's Black and Silver. Both of which I rarely use, but I still feel the need to have them...
Have I developed a serious problem?

I would define "serious problem" as an affliction that impedes your ability to continue your daily life in a normal, well adjusted fashion. So, does kit collecting meet that description? :p

Sorta. I haven't been able to buy as much stuff that I actually need because of this addiction to *mod* collecting.

Well, I'll just say that I have an extensive name brand water-pipe collection, as well as a large collection of clothing from an 80's-'05 clothing brand that went out of business, I have a collectible alcoholic beverage glass/cup/shot glass collection, shoe collection, and now a vape* collection....is my life just one big "problem"? :O

If you're buying authentics, yes, but you're not alone. If you're buying cheap clones it seems more common with a lot of people.

Problem? I wouldn't call it that. For me, actually quitting smoking was pretty darn exciting, and I was very enthusiastic about vaping. That led to me wanting to try out as much gear as I could. Not so much to find a "better" vape, but I was curious about how things performed. I've bought everything from clearos to cartos to rebuildables.

Lately I've been slowing down more and more, and being more "selective" in what I buy.

I've said it before, at least now I have something to show for my money, unlike the thousands of dollars I've stubbed out in ashtrays and ground under my heel.

I have a collection of 2000 Hot Wheels cars, a lot of them from the 80's, out of the package, mint condition. Most of the rest from the 2000's still in package.

I have no idea what I'm gonna do with all of this, and it's not a "big" collection by most serious collector standards. Just can't stop buying them when I walk past a toy aisle and I see this 2 tone Chevelle there's no way it's not coming home with me.

I got you.

The only problem I see is that you haven't started collecting Reos...lol.

Around here what you are experiencing is often called GAD (gear acquistion disorder) or GAD (gear acquistion syndrome). It seems to be a very very common thing so don't sweat it, I think most of us have been there are are there! Every time there is a "new" desine in mods or RDA I have to try it just in case it is better than what I have been using. Sometimes it is, usually not, but it is a learning experience all the same.

At some point you will start to notice that what you want is muuuuuuuch more expensive than what you used to buy but you won't want one in every color (well, except for Reos...lol). To each their own right? I could tell you that you've gone over the top but then again, seeing as how I have 9 mods all loaded and running on my desk as I type this, that would see a bit hypocritical.
