Here's my problem. I sit for long periods at the computer and love my PT. But, I find when I am out and about, the batteries just don't seem to do it for me. They seem, well, weak and I end up falling off the wagon. Do you think I need some type of mod to "up my voltage" or whatever? I really enjoy vaping. I do. Just seems like I'm only kidding myself when I can't seem to enjoy it unless I stay home where I can be "plugged in".
:(

XL manual batteries do the trick normally....but i wouldnt vape cartos at 6 volts. They all taste burnt to me.
I have one of those, but they still don't seem to get me "there". I have even tried to up my nic level. I am currently at 36mg so I don't think that's it.

that's one of the problems alot of folks have with upping voltage, its difficult to go drop down. recently i tried my old stock 510 battery, it felt like nothing.

any 3.7 batt mod should be sufficient for ya.
Does V4L sell them? I've looked all over their site. Taht's why I ask. I don't seem to see any.

I asked about the draw because I don't notice a huge difference between the PT and my batteries. It is all subjective, 3.7 on a cartomizer feels the same as 5 to me

I have also noticed different draws on different batteries. That stops me from using my black XL vs. constantly using my chrome XL. My PT has the same draw as the chrome...

You may need to vape everything at 5v, it was just a thought :)

The batteries run at 3.7 volt, a fully charged XL, with fresh charge, runs slightly higher. We are currently working on single peice higher voltage batteries. Patience will pay off in spades:thumbs:

Woohooo - I CANNOT Wait!

Although I'm sure you realize Steve, patience is not a virtue possessed by many here ;)

Justincase: do you @ least have the USB Car Adapter so you can use your PT in the car?

A mod probably won't help much - I've tried them and like born cartos at 6v are just not good (I didn't think the extra volt would make such a difference but it does) and 3.7 mods won't give you more of a hit than the VK.

I have two of them and sold one because it just didn't feel right to hold onto a $100 mod when my $15 VK batt was hitting just as hard.

Right now everyone is going crazy over a new mod that is gorgeous BUT battery life is 1.5 - 2 hours.

There are 5v mods out there but they aren't as plentiful as the 3.7 and 6v mods

Some people claim the Chuck at 3.7 hits better than other 3.7 mods but I don't have a Chuck. :(

Thanks for all your helpful responses.
I guess I will just have to wait on Steve. :(
Now, since he posted, to me, personally, that means I'm first!
Everyone else get in line behind me.

In fact, Steve, you can go ahead and put a sticky note somewhere to remind you to email me the second you get these. Before they're even put up on the storefront.
Okay?! ;)

Here and back
Justincase, I think the answer is yes. I have many V4L batts and PT's. The PT's are terrific like you said when attached to the computer (and there is a car charger 2V that runs a PT very nicely) but when out and about I carry a 5V for the "hit". I know it may not look ladylike but I'm way beyond that now!

I do have "an" adapter for the car, but I don't believe it puts out enough. It is a dual usb that is "supposed" to be 1000 mAh (or whatever), 500 on each side, however, when I plug my PT into it, I can hit it once maybe twice, then nothing. I can unplug it, then plug it back in and it will hit again, but to have to keep doing that, over and over, well, I'm sure you can see why THAT doesn't go over to well!
I am probably going to have to get a different one.
