I got a few flavors to start off diy.

From tpa I got sweet and tart, Strawberry (ripe), Pineapple, Gummy candy, and spearmint. (i also got ooo strawberry sourbelts and cherry happy rancher in the mail right now)

I mixed so far 2 bottles. 1 was pineapple... tastes more like pinacolada.. Not fruity pineapple.
Next I mixed sweet and tart. This one didnt taste that good at all either... I ended up adding ripe strawberry.. Still not a good taste..

I want a fruity/candy like flavor. What am I missing? What flavors should I get?

What are you looking for----- like skittles, lifesavers, lemon drops?
Could use the search function in ECF like "lemon drop recipe" or/and google something like " vape: lemon drop recipe".
Might pick a several recipes that look good to you. Those recipes may tell you what flavors to get.

I agree. Starting out look for recipes, but also look to see if there are reviews. That is extremely helpful.

If you want Candy like flavors, then I would Definitely suggest adding a Sweetener. Think of it this way, would you try making Candy with those Flavors and Not Add Sugar?

I like the TPA Sweetener. Which is Sucralose in PG. It is Very Sweet. So a couple of Drops goes a Long Way. And there is No Steeping Time. Just Add, Shake and Vape.

You can Also make an e-Liquid as Sweet as you like. Something that Many People find Impossible to do with Cotton Candy Flavoring.

Fruits and candies are usually plenty sweet enough and if you add to much sweetener you may actually mute the primary fruit taste. The trick is finding that sweet spot percentage wise with the primary flavor. I use sweetener only as a last resort and usually to add just a slight sweetness and body, in my case to a tobacco that is not usually sweet in itself and at that no more then half a percent. If your not getting the expected sweetness I would look more towards the fruit flavoring and try a few different brands until you come up with something that works.
