That tends to happen with Nickel based rechargeable
batteries. Lithium (which I'm led to believe these are) Love to be charged. In my experience in other applications using lithium
batteries, I've never had any "memory" type issue, even leaving them plugged in as frequent as possible.
I do however, like to drain all my batteries once in a while. And with PV's, chances are you will be puffing away until the batt's die anyway.
If these are cheap lithium assemblies then maybe there are some more strict rules that apply. But last I heard, lithiums LOVE to be charged and don't retain any memory if drained occasionally.
Correct me if I'm wrong however.
