Do Low res attys and regular attys look alike?

Hello!

One of my three 510 Joye attys is like the "Superman" of my 3 attys- tons more vapor and heats the vapor too. It's one of the two attys that came in my Joye 510 kit. Could that atty be a low res one by accident? Are they identical looking to regular ones? The superman atty gets very hot on the outside during usage but the other 2 attys do not. They get just warm on the exterior metal.

I'm just wondering because I have 5 Joye mega batteries for my 510 and they are losing their lives so fast. Three were bought 2 weeks ago from Estix and I am getting 1.5 hrs vaping life out of them. The other 2 are 2 months old and they also are lasting 1.5 hrs.

Could my one wonderful atty be a low res one and it's making my batteries' life shorter?

A Joye lr 150 will have LR imprinted on the center post on the bottom.

Best way to find out is with a meter and check the ohms.

The only LR attys I've used had LR510 printed on the atty at the threaded end. I don't use them anymore after losing 7 batteries in quick succession. There is a thread on the problem which I'll have a look for and then edit the post.

I lost a 14500 battery last week! I wonder if that was the culprit.

Yep...I have lost four EGO batteries due to LR atomizers. Once you use them you don't want to use anything else I bought a new Riva kit and am trying to avoid the LR atty's.

If they are not marked, I certainly don't know how to tell them apart - and I use both, so I keep them separated in my tackle box. If you have an electric multi-tester, you could measure the resistance, but I'm not electrically literate - so I keep them apart.

^^ What Banjo said. All LR atty's aren't marked...it depends on the company who makes them. A tackle box is a great idea. I always try to order my LR atomizers in a different color, (i.e. titanium), than my normal ones, (black),so I know the difference.

I do wanna test the "superman" atty. I would need a electric multi-tester? What part of the atty would I put the tester on to get a reading?

This atty doesn't have any markings on it but it produces twice the vapor my others do and it uses up a 510 mega battery in 1.5 hours. The other 2 attys produce half the vapor and the batteries last 3-5 hours with them. If I use my Superman atty, I go through 4 ml of juice a day and I use 2.5ml a day with the other two attys.

It's such a shame because I love that atty. I KNOW it's a low res one that mistakenly got put into my 510 starter kit. I wish I had never tried it because it puts regular attys to shame. Maybe I should get a Mod. They probably vape as good as the low res attys do. I don't care what I look like smoking froma wooden box- especially at home

Set your meter to ohms, put the red lead on the center post and the black one on the threads.
