Low Res Attys - Burn flavor?

I just got two low res atty's in from Totally Wicket, and they are amazing. But I am burning through a ton of juice because after about 4-5 hits I get a burnt taste with my Tornado, and my Chuck. I put in 3-4 drops.

Do you think I'm tasting primer? I cleaned them out prior to use (Vodka wash, and then hot water). There might be a bit of primer still in there, but I've tried both of them.

At first I thought is was the juice from Viking Vapor (amazing stuff!), but I also have the same taste with all my other juice.

Maybe they just need to be worked in?

Not having that trouble with taste but they do seem to burn thru juice and battery life is'nt as long when using the regular 510s. Still its waaaaaay better than the standard 510s. Vapor is the most I have ever seen using my eGo. Can't wait to try the LRs with my Mr. Puffer....when it finally gets here.

I find some of the LRs need break in and some don't.
I drip but don't keep them sopping wet. it isn't needed.
I wouldn't try to use carts on them though. Dripping only.
Seems like some people are popping them and some don't.
They are good imo and don't last as long as 510 reg attys but they will get better im sure.

If you are using a cartridge, then I suspect a wicking issue.
If you are dripping, then I suspect you take big, long, deep lung inhales like I do.

But the bottom line is, the more vapor you get, the more juice you are using.
So yeah, of course.

I got LR atty's from TW. I just dripped about 5 drops of PG on the bridge and blew them out, added 3-4 drops of my e-liquid and they were good to go...

Careful with the Chuck at 3.7V you might be better off with the Tornado at 3.1v for longevity. I popped one from another vendor on the first day using a SB at 3.7v.

They were bathed in 555, which I do not care for, so they needed a little more work to clean out.

True. I 1st bought 2 from Nhalers and the were really harsh so I assumed HV was'nt for me and sold them. The member who bought them said they wer great...hmmm. Now I think I did'nt clean and break them in enough so I went to buy more they were out. TW had them so I tried theirs and LOVED them (just blew them out). So I dont want to cast aspersions on Nhaler's cause I love those guys and I think it was all my fault.

The vapor is amazing and so is the flavor. I do take long slow hits, so maybe I'm just burning up the remaining juice. Either way I have no other complaints other then the burnt taste. I'm hoping that will go away soon.

I drip, but have an empty cart on top of my tornado. I would think the stuffing would burn up fast otherwise.

I thought that maybe my chuck was a bit to high in voltage. The hit was stronger. But I have to send it in for repair, so I guess I'll have to wait till I get it back to find out for sure.

I took the cart off, and hit it for awhile, and the burnt taste is now more like when your just running out of juice and need to refill. I looked at the bottom of the cart and it's melted. So what I was smoking was burnt plastic, yumm.

So I'll have to figure out a way to use my tornado/ego without a cart. I like having the cone on here, so.... I don't know. I'll figure something out, if I can't find a mod somewhere on the forums.

If you are a dripper you should look into drip tips. Super T Manufacturing sells them as well as NHaler, I think.

Now can someone come out with and intervenes drip bag so I can stop dripping every couple of seconds IDE be in heaven if someone could come up with someway of holding say 4-6 ML's of juice on the Atty tip, like sorounding the Atty with a rubber boot you could fill, squeez squeez squeez and it shoots down the dripping tip WOW

You need a metal drip tip
