Not sure if it's been mentioned, but *Free Offers* rank up there with Mall kiosks. Great advertising for the real deal PVs. That's how I came to be a Vaper! Not that I bought from a Mall kiosk mind you. My wife stumbled across it at the mall, and she wanted to buy the "kit" for me for HER Birthday. Me being the ultimate septic, I did some research and found this site among others that lead me to buy my first (and only SD MKII). All in it was less than two cartons of analogs, and from the day I received my first order, I've never looked back.

So, many thanks to the teenager in the JC Penny shirt and tie who talked my wife's ear off on that fateful day. You earned every nickel of the $9 an hour you got!

~Cheers~

When I first heard about e cigs, my search on Internet took me to one of those free sites
Glad I read the fine print and the reviews
Got turned off and figured yhe whole industry was a scam. A few months later, I started searching for more info, and landed on v2's site. Huge back order problems ect, eventually was able to try it but didn't like having to wait 3 weeks for a partial shipment (still waiting for part of my starter kit and ordered before thanksgiving)
Through this forum, found out about vapor for life and am now on day 3 with no analogs-of coarse I am chain vaping
Hope this will get toned down over time
Long story short, this forum is a great service to newbies

Oh Sh$t. I should have read this before I sent off for the Free Apollo Disposable cig. But I did read all the peolpe that have done so, so far are pleased. I'll cross my fingers.
I think you're okay on this one, it looks legitimate.

I went all the way to the point where I would submit payment, and I didn't see any loopholes.
But any loopholes MIGHT have been on the page to accept payment, which I did not get to see.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Welcome to the forum lee. Good to hear you are trying to get the hubby off the cigs. Your best bet is to start a new thread in the 'New Members' section. You will find many people there ready to answer any questions you have and give recommendations on models and suppliers.

I regularly listen to a certain talk show on the way home from work. One day last week I called a toll-free number from my mobile phone and hasd to listen to this long drawn-out trivia before the agent would get to the bottom line. I disconnected the call in disgust nad continue to be apalled by the indifference to people's situations. There's nothing wrong with making an honest profit, but the tactics described above are not new and not unique to e-cigs alone. As a rule of practice, I don't trust anyone who cannot be up front about costs in the very beginning.

Well, just to report back about the free appolo e-cig offer. Mine arrived a couple of days ago and I've had no problems concerning the payment or anything else. The free offer is what it says, you simply pay for the postage (just under $4 for me) and they send you the product ! As this was my introduction to vapouring I'm a little dissapointed by the taste but very impressed by how effective it was, especially when I went out drinking over the weekend and didn't 'smoke'. I actually would like to perhaps try a starter kit, could anyone reccomend a good brand from their own experience?

Glad it worked out for you dill, but I am always skeptical of anything where you "just pay postage". Unfortunately, a lot of the 'scam' organizations use the postage/processing charge just to get your CC number. Then send you more products later and charge your CC. (anyone who has ever ordered 'free' video professor software will know what I mean).

Hopefully the free appolo offer is not this type of scam, but I would watch you CC statement closely for a couple months just to be sure.

It looks like Apollo had to discontinue their offer for a free disposable for first time customers.

Apparently, the FDA hit them and seized some shipments...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-free-disposable-ecig-apollo-continues-3.html

We have to stop offering Free Disposable to our new customers now because of FDA's interception of some shipments for us. The shipping company told us FDA is seizing ecig shipments for all USA vendors now. Can not believe FDA is doing this after the recent court ruling!
