And the worst part about the E-Cig media ads is that once people try them and see that the ones sold there are JUNK, they decide ALL E-Cigs are as bad and return to smoking. In a way, the E-Cig Big-Ad buyers are helping kill more smokers.
Excellent post, High.

I don't know if we're allowed to name names so I'm going to refrain from that along that this venue. But, there are two radio commercials here in NY that are played ad nauseum. Unfortunately most people that are unaware of e-cig/PVs and are hearing the ads for the first time fall prey. We've all read the stories here and on the other forums where folks find the forums and all this information AFTER making a purchase.

You give excellent advice, Sir.

Do not order from V2. They are a good product for beginners but you will grow out of it quickly. I am going to send mine back tomorrow. I tried it for 2.5 weeks. Have had two bad batteries that needed to be replaced and one bad pass thru unit. They say they have great Quality Control but they don't. Do not waste your time. If you like that style then go with the Revolution. I have heard good things about them.

I recently found out that V2 also owns one of those shady "free trial" sites. They hook you in with the free trial offer and then charge your credit card for $105 if you don't return it within 14 days of placing your order. plus $60 a month for crappy tasting carts. They bill your credit card every month whether you want it or not. It's a nightmare to cancel if you do get roped in. DO NOT DO IT.
