This is a great post for people new to PV's thanks so much, there are a lot of FREE TRIAL "scams" for other products besides PV's as well that people should be wary of.

They are plugging the "free trial e-cig" to death on Memphis radio. At least they are raising awareness I suppose. And, if I hadn't tried the Joye 510 at a market here, I probably would have ordered one from the radio!

bad news: I ordered a freebie e-cig which I love. Then the "refills" arrived in my mailbox. One phone call to the company and that is stopped. good news: the e-cig quit making vapor and I found this website. Soon I will know more than nothing!

Personally I would think that it's a great idea to repost this on Facebook, so that people would possibly read the thread and understand (if they didn't already) that these free trials are always shady.. Thing is, that I would imagine that you should send a message over to highping and ask them if you could, since they started the thread...

I've heard about this scam on another website which has a thread about vapping since its so critical on cruiseships, where many people, justifiably so, have made analog smoking difficult.

Thanks for posting, this definitely needs to be a sticky! I'm seeing one of these scams ads on Facebook lately, so we'll be hearing a few more sad stories I think.

I'm glad to hear you say this, as NOTHING isFREE and so many people put that sort of thing on advertisements and of course people fall for it and get hurt, so thanks for the heads up--
