I dont find cartomizers to be expensive. I guess if you rebuild it might be, but those bdc coils run 2.95 a piece and last about as long as a carto.

I usually get mine for .95 a piece.

I second that. I often get mines cheaper...$3-5 per 5 pack since I buy in larger quantities...I should also add that I punch my own so that affects price as well. Plus they last a week at minimum in my tanks so they're actually pretty cheap.

IMO cartos in a tank are the next best thing to rebuildables. I feel top coil clearos rate just below cartos. Never tried a bottom coil clearo and at this point I probably never will because I'm almost completely into rebuildables.

IMO neither top coil clearos or cartos are going to go away any time soon. They just have too much going for them. When I was using a couple of Vivi Novas as my main vape, the coils lasted months with regular dry burning and I still have the devices. Boge cartos last about 15 - 40 ml of juice depending on how gunky the juice is and they cost about buck a piece. Carto tanks last a long time.

A carto tank is still my number one vape. I use them daily for my drive in to work and home because they are simple and work well. A IBTanked pyrex tank with XL carto will be around for a while. Cartos are cheap and IMHO a better vape than most of the new clearomiser junk coming out now. I have tried the Nautilus, Aspire, Aero, and none can match the carto tanks. Too many people want to lump a clearomiser into the same category as a carto tank. They are very different.

Cartotanks have been either my main or backup juice attachment for nearly two years.

Baditude's Cartotank Setup Guide

Only since I began using a Kayfun-style rebuildable tank atomizer as my primary juice attachment has my cartotanks taken a back burner. However, since they are the best combination of a flavorful/consistant/dependable vape they remain as strong fixtures in my vaping setup. I liken a KFL+ as a cartotank on steroids.

I haven't used a clearomizer in nearly a year. I find their flavor production and consistancy inferior to a cartotank. They are just too fussy and ultimately disappointing. Having said that, I preferred the top coiled clearos (namely the iClear 30) over the bottom coil clearos (Aspire CE5 & Vivi Nova, Kanger Protanks & T3S).

Dang, you should pm me where you are getting yours! I just got put in a vape budget!

If you're talking about the Boge cartos I mentioned, I bought from Sure Vapes. That deal of 25 cartos for $25.49 is for the ones that are not punched. I like making my own holes.

Laser punched are $28.49.

I haven't bought any of these for a long time. Think I still have about a dozen in my backup box with a few tanks for them :). You might be able to do better than these prices if you check around.

There's a learning curve with the KFL+ just like any other device. Have you adjusted the bottom air flow screw? The amount of cotton wick, and it's placement in the vacuum chamber, will also determine the amount of airflow.

well you guys have got me rather interested in trying them. what would you recommend? i would need something fairly cheap as i dont have a lot of money and something to pair nicely with my nemesis! thank you

I'm having great luck with boge and i like the smoktechs too.
Baditude is the man for info.

The real pleasure is in the cartotank. Just stear clear of smok cartotanks unless you plan on replacing it soon, i bought a few of them and well, they arent very good compared to other tanks out there.
I really enjoy my ibtanks and my crazyvapes tanks.
Both brand of tanks have pros and cons.

A carto with out the tank means a lot of dripping, or topping

And id like to thank the previous posters for tips on cheap boges.
