Hello everybody, I am looking into ordering a Provari Mini, I want it in white but i fear it getting dirty because of the material it is made out of, I really dont want something that picks up dirty and animal hair, But I am not sure what material it is made out of, some people tell me its made out of a material like a Remote controller ( like the buttons on there ) and some other people tell me its like a glossy finish, I dont know what it is, can somebody please help me?

The material is an extemely durable paint finish specifically chosen by Provape called carokote. It has been used in the past for gun metals. It is extremely resistant to stains, scratches, and dents.

It is likely more durable than most powder-coated paint finishes used by other mods. I don't have a white Provari, but I have had a blue one for about seven months now. It has suffered falling onto the pavement several times from my lap getting out of my car with no scatches or dents.

I love ya Bad... you've provided so much great content for this forum, BUT I feel I need to correct something, in case someone wants to look it up. It's called CeraKote, and many firearm manufacturers still offer it because of it's durability... And it is well worth it, you wont find a better color coating.

Thank you Dan. Or is it Jack? Anyway, I always have a difficult time remembering how to spell CeraKote. I actually did try to find a link to give to the OP for more info with an ECF search but came up empty without the correct spelling.

No, the default silver color is not CeraKote and that is why is it less expensive than the other colors. Provape out-sources another company to apply the CeraKote to the bodies of the colored Provari's, so it is an added manufacturing cost to Provape. This added cost is passed on to only those customers who choose a colored one. The silver is a bare stainless steel.

The same applies to the LED display. The red display is the default one. The colored displays of blue and green (when available) cost Provape additional money than the red, so that added cost to the manufacturer is passed on only to those customers who want the blue or green display.

Don't have any problems with my silver one - hair/dust/sweat/oil from my hands, just needs a quick wipe with a clean towel or napkin, and it looks good as new again. Haven't dropped it, so can't comment on that, but I know there will be may more people commenting on how durable and resilient the body tube, top cap, and battery cap are.

I have a white mini which I love. I've owned it for about 5 weeks I use it all the time. Since getting it I can hardly stand to use anything else I have. I have had no problems keeping it clean. I wipe it with a microfiber towel when I think about it. Finish is perfect even though I have dropped it a couple of times. One of my drops was outside after a rain and it had mud on it, wiped right off. Pack it in my pocket and purse with no issues. Can't say enough good things about it. Wish I hadn't waited so long to get it. Love it!

Its is actually how they finish the ProVari...im not saying the white finish wont be scratch or the blue or black... its just depends on how u handle the ProVari... ive seen people having their blue ProVari for three days and having had a scratched already... im pretty sure the finish is great but I cant vouch that it wont scratch in the near future... its just how u handle it :)... I have a black and silver... the black one Ive been using it more than the silver and never drop but I have scratches which is I dont mind...the silver is all perfect and it been dropped I have a small unnoticeable dent but it's still perfect...other than that no devices r perfect even the ProVari... its all up to u!
