Do the 5V 510 USB PassThroughs have any regulators or other electronics built in?

I'm looking for a simple USB PassThrough that is simply a switch wired to the battery connector and USB without a regulator or anything.

I'm building a variable voltage PassThrough device and want to focus on the electronics, unfortunately almost all USB passthroughs I've used contain either regulators or other electronics which will not work for the mod I have planned.

If there is anything else available for this application please let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

thank you for your asking. i am sorry that i do not understand your question well.

whether you want just a connector ?

If you connect a USB passthrough at 5V, usually the device will contain a regulator that makes the voltage 3.3 or 3.7V. I dont want any of those electronics, I want something like this:

thank you for your fast reply. i am sorry that i have little knowledge about them, so i will look into it and reply to you later. :)

yes. our 5v 510 passthrough produces 5v.:) but i am not sure whether it contains a regulator? could you help me find it out?

hmmm...still possible it contains some regulator/electronics but it sounds promising :)

Does the device have a cutoff time? If its the device I'm looking for it will have no cutoff.

The thing that really matters is that whatever voltage you put in will come out the other end, but I dont expect you to test that!

The main point I should mention is that if you put 6/7 volts through a regulated passthrough, generally they either get stuck on and heat up and usually they're broken after that!
