So they offer 'hybrid' attys for you to buy, but you still can't use regular 510 atomizers with it? Why are they dragging their feet with this... if they sold one that could use standard 510 attys, I'd buy one in a second. I think the new 'Sparki' looks like a nice little affordable device, but the fact that it still has a connector on it I have no desire to buy atomizers for is stopping me from ordering.

According to the website it does use a standard 510 threading--they're calling the atomizer itself "hybrid":

Sparki™ Hybrid Atomizer

Our specialized atomizer can give months of use to the Sparki™ Smokeless System allowing for an incredibly cost effective way to get your smokeless nicotine vape. This 510 Hybrid Atomizer has threads matching the Sparki™ and gives you what you have asked for. It heats faster and not only gives you a distinct flavor, but also an extremely good vape.

Note: Must have 801 to 510 Atomizer thread adapter to use with the SparkPlug.

Their description isn't the least bit helpful. What's the 801 to 510 adapter for? To convert the Sparki's 801 threads to the standard 510 threads? If that's the case, why would anyone need to buy the 'hybrid' 510 atomizer they sell? If on the other hand, it's to convert the Sparki's 510 threads to 801, then why call the 'hybrid' atomizer 510 at all? Why not just sell 510 atomizers?

It's not at all clear, and they don't respond to emails.

Just got mine in the mail and I am loving it! The atty really does work great. I now hear they are going to be selling cartomizers for it but I drip so...

Battery life - been using the same one for over 24 hours
Vapor - Clouds of vapor at 3.7v Can't wait to see it at 6V!
Taste - I am using the fluid that came with it. While not bad it is not very tasty.

Would I buy again... heck yeah! In fact I may just buy a new kit when I need batts and a atty ;)

One thing I wish they would change... I wish they added the drip tip in the kit but oh well

I have two SP2's and the thermo tube.

They provide very little information on what has changed with the SP3. Specifically I am wondering if they made any improvements to the button. That's the only problem I have with the SP2.

If they have improved the button and it actually works well now I would upgrade in a minute. :)

I haven't had any problems with the button so not sure what improvements you are looking for but I do know that the site listed "button improvements to resolve issues" Whatever those issues are...

Those issues are depressing the button several times (4-5) before it "fires." And having to depress the button very hard to get it to make contact.

I haven't had any trouble with it not firing or anything but the instructions do have a button maintenance section. Talks about it needing cleaning due to corrosion over time. And it consists of four parts. The outer casting, button, spring, and washer. Hope the info helps u decide. If I do have any issues I will be sure to post it for you

Well I got my Sp3:) I am very impressed it looks great. Put my 510 adaptor on it, which looks cool on it too.
It vapes like a 3.7 device should. It is very comfortable to hold and the switch is very easy to use. No miss fires works everytime.
It is very durable, I see very little that could go wrong with it.
I just got the base unit. At only 20.98 including shipping there is no way in hell I will ever pay 100 bucks for a tube.

James, my man if you made a few more versions of this excepting 14500s and 18650s you would crush the competition.:toast:
