Do you buy multiple devices of the same mod?

Im just curious has anyone ever liked a mod so much you end up buying another or more to have future backups?
Yesterday i walked into my local vape shop and what do i see?
I see they had 1 odin v2 left i right away bought it without thinking twice lol cause i kno this mod is currently sold out everywhere, but i already have a odin v2 its my fav mod tho maybe of all time even..
Anyway i couldnt believe my eyes as soon as i saw it.
Cause if i didnt it prob be very hard to get another one for at least a little while

I have several different mods and I switch up now and then. Currently I'm using my Dovpo VV mod. Bought it cheap a few years ago. My most recent mod purchse though is my VandyVape Gaur 18. Wasn't exactly cheap because i got it at a B&M but it's a pretty solid mod and I do like the electronics, quick response from the fire button. I started out like most with Smok products. Found out, like most, they are a crappy company.

Most of us who have a vape "stash" for the longterm future...have multiples of many things we've found that we really like or love. Many stashes include not only specific mods, mod kits, tanks, RBAs, pod set ups, etc., but also batteries for mods, drop-in coils, replacement glass for tanks, o-rings, spools of wire, replacement screws, etc., etc.

Yes, and no? :)

Yes, multiples of mods I like, although not a dozen of each :)

I vape mtl, low power, so when everybody was jumping on the cloud wagon, those mods got real cheap. Stocked up while they were still available.

Did the same with RTAs, couple dozen KF2Ls, a dozen Skylines.

I have a handful or more of a handful or more different mods.

Obviously each brand/model I got more of were ones that I had used and liked before getting multiple of them. :)

Ditto goes for some of the atomizers I like.

While historically some mod's "take a licking and keep on ticking" others may (or NOT!) get broken or simply fail after years of use.

Quite a few of us 'stocked up' (there's more than one thread about it!) so we could continue vaping for as long as WE wished to.

I should mention that while much of the 'stuff' I have is ether no longer available (IE: not manufactured or instock anywhere) or simply is ether not sold or can be shipped to the area that I live.

Also worth mentioning that voters in my area approved a %65 tobacco vaping tax which IMHO is a incentive to have NO INTEREST in products currently available in my area.

    1) With tobacco tax revenues falling and moral panic ever rising, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, so, yes, I stock up on the mods and tanks I like.

    2) This tends to be a fad-prone industry, so if I get a setup I like, I don't think about maybe getting a backup or two, I go ahead and grab some today, because I'm likely to be sol tomorrow.

Yes, so far. Then again, my stash was mostly built when I could get 100mg/ml liters for $40...

While Heartland still has it around that price (and good stuff, imo), most of the others are around $150 a liter.

And who knows what the next step the FDA will take, or even States?

So, People totally buy extra mods they love! It's like when you find something super awesome, you don't wanna risk not having it, right? So having a backup is smart, just in case your main mod goes kaput or gets lost.

And when a mod is hard to find or selling out everywhere, it's like a vape treasure hunt! So grabbing that last Odin V2 at your local vape shop was a total win! No second thoughts, just go for it!

Plus, some folks just get attached to a particular mod, like you and your Odin V2. It becomes your go-to, your ride or die, the mod you can't live without. So having more of what you love is never a bad thing, dude!

And let's be real, sometimes you worry that a great mod might get discontinued or changed in a way you don't like. So buying extras is like keeping your favorite version safe and secure for the long haul. Getting more of the stuff you dig is always cool.
